Upon entrance to the restaurant I was greeted with excellent service. The food was great. Every dish we ordered was seasoned to perfection with generous portions served. The margaritas flight almost has me feel like I was flying, lol. I will definitely visit this restaurant again!

After seeing countless reviews on social media about poor service and high prices, we decided to give Kitchen + Kocktails a try for ourselves while visiting Miami. Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. When we arrived, we waited at the host stand for about 15 minutes with no host in sight. A server eventually noticed us, seated us, and ended up taking care of us throughout the meal. The host appeared to be occupied elsewhere on her phone, which wasn’t the best first impression. To make up for the wait, our server offered us a complimentary Frozen D’USSÉ shot, which was actually very good. Our server was attentive and did her best despite the circumstances. We started with the crab cakes, which were okay, although I wasn’t a fan of the sauce that accompanied them. For our entrées, we ordered chicken with potatoes and collard greens. One disappointment was that the menu advertised turkey in many of the side dishes, including the greens, but there didn’t appear to be any turkey in them. Additionally, the chicken was not advertised as spicy. I enjoy spicy food, but this was significantly hotter than Popeyes spicy chicken and was difficult to eat because of the heat level. The highlights of our visit were definitely the Frozen D’USSÉ and the professional photographer. Our pictures turned out beautiful and were some of our favorite photos from the trip. Overall, I’m glad we tried it for ourselves rather than relying solely on social media reviews, but this isn’t an experience I feel the need to repeat. One visit was enough for us, and we likely won’t return or make a trip to visit the Atlanta location. 📸 Great photos. 🍹 Excellent Frozen D’USSÉ. 🍽️ Average food. ⏱️ Service and wait issues. For us, it was a one-and-done experience.

Decided to give it a try for my birthday and they did not disappoint. I told them it was my birthday and they put up a really cute Happy birthday sign on my table. They had a DJ in house. I was worried that the music would be profane laced but she played mostly R&B so the vibe was nice. The food was delicious and everything was well seasoned. Also the portions are worth the price. I would definitely go back.

This was my first time here, I had Andre as my server and he did such an amazing job. I really enjoyed this spot. My cousin recommended this place and she said all good things and it was not hype! Everything was so perfectly seasoned and well done. Very cute spot, and I will be back. I didn’t get a picture of our blackened salmon and grits cause I ate it so fast I forgot lol food was 10/10

Had a great time. My server Erwin was great. As a Miami native I loved the vibe. Food and drinks a bit pricy to me. We ate a number of things, but the food was just ok. Lamb chops were fatty. Banana pudding was superb.
