Rough hotel. Smells chemical and must everywhere. Shower was only decent thing. No food near hotel.

Will NOT choose to stay at this location again. Our flight to DFW was unexpectedly diverted to IAH and got pushed to the next day. Our airline gave us a voucher for a hotel room that night, and we selected this La Quinta because we have stayed at other locations and had great experiences. The room we were placed in here was old and not well maintained. There was a huge rip in the carpet in the room, and the room smelled bad and felt like it was 100% humidity, even with the AC running constantly. Yes, I know Houston is humid…this was NOT that. The front desk person hung up on me when I was trying to confirm our room reservation and then when I was trying to inquire about how to get a shuttle from the airport. Note for others…the shuttle only picks up from terminals A and C at the IAH airport. The front desk person was not particularly friendly when we checked in. She hung up on my husband multiple times when he was trying to arrange for a shuttle (he and I travelled to the hotel separately due to issues with luggage being delayed at the airport). The breakfast bar was subpar the next morning with all kinds of signage posted that made us nervously chuckle, wondering what kinds of craziness had occurred in the past that warranted such specific signs. Oh, and the hotel was overbooked the night we were there, so we were lucky to even have a room to stay in. We talked with others on our delayed flight the next day who arrived at the hotel after us, and some did not have a room, even though they were told they had one reserved. All in all, our experience at this location was a hot mess, and I hope to never be in this situation again.

I booked here and when I showed up they told me the website overbooked. Fine, I get it. But when I tried to get a refund for the services not rendered they instead offered me 5000 Wyndham points instead. I just want my refund. Avoid all Wyndham properties.

Surprised at the four stars. The room is the most important thing, in my opinion and I felt very uncomfortable. The smell was the worst , it smelled moldy :/ and the sheets and floor felt wet . The good thing is , check in was nice and location is good and they have a free shuttle..if I wasn't scared that there was going to be bed bugs I would have given this higher ratings . ...well I take back the shuttle. I came 10 min before and she said oh it left about 515.

THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. I wish I was exaggerating. It’s 2am and we have a flight to catch in a little over 2 hours and we are too exhausted to go somewhere else. I am in shock. It smells like… mold?? And I feel disgusting being in this room. We flipped the mattress and looked for bed bugs because it’s so nasty. DO NOT BOOK!!! I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! We are sleeping on top of the sheets because it’s so disgusting. 😭 we are so exhausted this is awful.

Do not stay here. Pick anywhere else. I stayed here because of its proximity to the airport when my flight was cancelled. Couldn’t get ahold of anybody for the shuttle to the hotel and once I got here the entire floor reeked of mold. My room somehow smelt worse and there’s some sort of grease on the bathroom door? Hair in the bed and a half eaten granola bar also raised some concerns about cleanliness. I don’t even know what to say except for it was a disgusting stay. Do not recommend.

Love this place. Close to the airport and a Uber/Lyft ride to everywhere else. Front desk person was professional and nice and allowed me to check in early, as my flight arrived at 9am. The biggest draw for me was the free 24hr shuttle bus from and to the airport. Will book again, when in Houston.

Location is good and the rooms were clean somewhat. The shower floor had hairs on it. Very unacceptable. The lady serving the food was sick. She kept coughing and coughing, even when she was carrying the food , both her hands were full she could not cover her mouth and coughed all over the food.Omg she shouldn’t be working when she’s sick and they shouldn’t allow her to work serving food, especially on Mother’s Day weekend. Who wants to come home stay at a hotel pick up some bad germs and get their family sick for this. I only give two star stars. Although other than this wasn’t too bad here, but they do need to step up and get on their cleaning department on these showers very unsanitary. Do you want to take a shower that has hairs on the bottom floor and workers serving food if they’re coughing all over the food very disgusting. The lady just couldn’t stop coughing. These issues can be fixed for future guest if the management would step up and do their job and make sure their employees are not sick serving food and they’re cleaning staff would make sure the showers are clean
