My fiancée and I frequent Lago since we live in the neighborhood, and it has consistently been one of our go-to spots. Whether it’s brunch, lunch, dinner, or simply stopping in for a few drinks, the experience is always top-notch. They do an excellent job with their seasonal menus and keep things fresh with a creative and well-crafted cocktail list. A special shoutout to Josh and Malek behind the bar—they’re exceptional—and to Hailee, who is always fantastic as a server. The entire team is welcoming and genuinely makes us feel like family every time we visit. Easily one of our favorite spots in Downtown/the Flats!

Went here for the first time on Valentine’s Day, my fiancé had reservations for us that he put in advance for around 6:45pm that day. When we got in the hostess sat us at our table and told us we had an hour and 15 mins because they were fully booked but she said it was “no rush” like that was very clearly rushing. It was not only Valentine’s Day for us but it was also our anniversary and I found that very rude of her to tell paying customers that on Valentine’s Day like seriously ?? Our server was Kate and she changed the atmosphere for us very quick! She was super sweet and you can tell she loves her job. She could describe every single thing on the menu in full detail for you, the best server I’ve ever had. She was amazingggggggg she deserves a raise, promotion, something ! She recommended some very good things for us that did not disappoint. Mussels were amazing! Thank you Kate!!!

I took my wife here for her birthday. My wife has been here for drinks previously and this was my first time. Lago provides a great environment and atmosphere for a nice and fancy dinner night. Dimmed lights, nice bar. Our server was fantastic! Kind, courteous, and attentive. Very fast service for bringing drinks and plates out. Service alone is one of the better experiences we’ve had recently. They have a nice sized drink and food menu with plenty of options. Both some traditional and unique food options. We tried lobster and meatball dishes for appetizers. Both of them were very flavorful and satisfying. We both tried pasta dishes for our entree. I had the rigatoni and my wife and a spicy pasta dish. Both of them were fantastic! We finished with Nutella cheesecake, which again, was as fantastic as the rest of the food. Very flavorful dishes and plenty of options. We already plan to come back and try some other menu items. Highly recommend!

Malik (sorry if I misspelled it) made our night great! He was amazing. We had a pizza with prosciutto, caramelized onions and goat cheese. Also tried the meatballs and the fried gnocchi. Everything was delicious! Malik also made an amazing Old Fashioned! Can’t wait to go back
