This was my first time staying at this resort. There was a $275 deposit that is suppose to be refunded about a week after check in that wasn't explained during booking. The rooms were clean. The pools and recreation was great! There was what looked like a big sewage pipe separating the hotel and ocean running down the beach. This looked to be a temporary issue while something was being fixed by the city and to no fault of the resort. It was overall a great experience.

Stayed 4 days Sat-Tues. Sat/Sun the place was packed. The front desk girls were pleasant and check in was quick. We decided to eat lunch at the restaurant, service was slow but food was typical bar food and decent. The restaurant is really dark and in desperate need of a deep clean, the booths had dirt and grime all over them. Once we got to the room, we were surprised at the size of the beds and felt they wouldnt sleep 4 people so we called down and spoke with Sherman, he was amazing, spent about 15 minutes before finding us a more accommodating room. That room had 2 beds plus a Murphy bed so much better for our group. We noticed on Monday that the resort had completely died down which was kind of nice. Some disappointments: -The restaurant/bar closed early and wasnt open at all on Tuesday. We couldn't charge anything to the room eventhough they claim you can. -The snack shack was never opened -The kids said the slides hurt their back going down and left visible marks(maybe needs more water?) -The beds were sagging and pillows were flat as a pancake -The last day we paid $40 for late check out so we could do pools/beach and shower before we left. Then they shut off water to our building. Would have saved the money and just checked out if we had been told ahead of time. Some positives: -Sherman really made our stay memorable -Lots of security around so I felt really safe at the resort -The beach and pools were the highlight of the hotel. Pools were open late and indoor pools were heated. I would stay here again but I think the hotel as a whole could use a deep clean and a spruce up.

My family and I stayed at Landmark Resort this weekend and had such a good time. The location is amazing, and we loved being able to go back and forth between the beach and the pool so easily. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings with our coffee and listening to the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!

Don’t bother going to management for any of your issues because they don’t really care about anything once you pay for your stay. My fiance, our 3 children, and I went on vacation in July last year and hoped that we would hear something from them by now to avoid this, but it’s time to leave an honest review. Our first night was rough. Our oldest sliced her leg on one of the beds (we were unaware it was broken until she got hurt because it was hidden). We also needed pillows and blankets for one of the beds, trashbags, and towels…so the room clearly wasn’t ready. We had to go down to the lobby to actually talk to an employee about our issues (phones either didn’t work, or no one was answering) and was told that the manager would contact us the next morning regarding our issues. There are 4 elevators on one side of the building, and 2 on the other side. Only 2 were working out of the 4, and 1 was working out of the 2. To make matters worse, my fiance and our children got stuck on one of the ones that were working. We were staying on one of the higher floors, so that was terrifying. There were more issues regarding cleanliness and employee attitudes, but like I said, this was a year ago and I was hoping to hear back from someone by now. We have reached out by email and by calling, and I don’t like leaving negative reviews but we’ve taken vacation every year at this resort for over 10 years and I’m just super disappointed that our loyalty meant so little to them. My family (especially my children) are devastated that we will be taking our yearly week-long vacation elsewhere this year. 😔

If your looking for a budget hotel with a bunch of Amenities this is probably ok. They have a decent indoor and outdoor pool if not busy. They have a small arcade room. The restaurant menu prices seemed reasonable for a hotel but we didn't eat there. However if you are going for the water park which is a couple of slides you should check that it is open, it wasn't when we went. Unfortunately it was the only reason we went there. We were supposed to stay in an ocean view but instead we got the side of the hotel which I would consider the angled view. The room seemed decent, like any other standard double room. Due to the reviews I saw, we stayed away from the condos. Microwave was small. The entry light to the room didn't turn on, it flickered, so we had to use the table light. The instructions say to leave the keys in the room when your done, I think that was from 2020 when social distancing was important and probably needs updating. We should have kept our keys until we were done. It does more for access than it says on the paper. The lazy river and pool was ok, I enjoyed the indoor lazy river. Fortunately it wasn't busy when we went. This hotel has a lot of rooms. The parking garage is not secure and the neighborhood didn't look like it was the greatest. There were cars in the garage that looked like they had been abandoned. Personally I think the hotel has a lot of potential but it would require time, effort and probably changing the operating procedures and training of staff. Probably also more staff. It is non-smoking so take that into consideration. We didn't have time but I would have liked to have gone to the beach.
