From appetizers to the main course, every dish was satisfying. The onion soup and duck confit are especially worth mentioning — the duck was honestly the best I’ve had in New York so far. The service, ambiance, and overall setting were all excellent. Highly recommend — definitely a five-star experience.

It is one of those rare places that manages to be consistently excellent whether you show up for brunch or dinner. I’ve now done both, and each visit reinforced the same impression: terrific food, genuinely friendly staff, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Set inside the Wythe Hotel, the space is beautiful—bright, elegant, and lively without feeling overwhelming. It attracts a great mix of people, and there’s an energy in the room that makes it simply a nice place to spend time, whether you’re catching up with friends or settling in for a long meal. The food absolutely holds up to the setting. The burger is easily one of the best in New York—rich, perfectly cooked, and deeply satisfying. The quiche, though, is what really surprised me: delicate, custardy, and unbelievably flavorful. It’s the kind of dish that sounds simple but ends up being completely mind-blowing when done this well. And then there’s the sticky toffee pudding. Warm, indulgent, and exactly the kind of dessert you hope for at the end of a great meal. Between the atmosphere, the hospitality, and the consistently strong cooking, this is a place I keep coming back to.

Me and my hubby were looking for a French dining around Williamsburg and chatgpt recommended this spot, i couldn’t really find it via my google searches before that. The food was amazing in general. It was our first time trying Barbajuans and it was soo tasty. The onion soup and the complimentary bread and butter were delicious. The steak had a salty and overpowering sauce so it’s not my favorite but still we devoured everything. The last star of the show was a crème brulee which was just 💋👨🍳 Service was very calm and good they were very attentive. Pricing is normal for a place like that. (Maybe the steak is a bit pricey for the portion?)

Really good food, with the highlights being the mushroom pate and the duck confit. Service was top notch and I loved the dessert. Great place for a date, book club meeting, or business meeting based on the people around us. The menu changes seasonally so the stuff we got might not be what you get. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Le Crocodile was fantastic. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. The menu is unique. I tried certain dishes I’ve never had before like steak tartare & mushroom pate. Both were incredible. Entree I got the bistro steak frites, it was good not great but tried the roast chicken from my friend it was delicious. My other friends got the duck breast and really liked it. The sticky banana date pudding was so good didn’t last more than 30 seconds on our table hahah. Will definitely be returning to this spot! Great place for a date or dinner with friends
