Visited this venue for the News Cycle movie premiere and had a great experience. The gated parking nearby was convenient and the space felt clean, welcoming, and well put together. Overall it had a polished slightly upscale feel that worked really well for the event.

The Atlanta Underground Film Festival was the first time I've been to Limelight Theater. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back. From the welcoming and informative staff, to the entertaining and unique film selections, and not to forget the interesting amalgamation of viewers.... there is so much to love! Hope to see you there next time!

Not the most professionally run theater, but good energy!

I really tried to make this place work, but unfortunately, they simply just cannot make it happen. The saying says fool me once shame on you for me twice. Shame on me. Well I tried to get them TWO opportunities to make things right. The first time that I rented from them, there was nobody there to assist me with connecting to the projector. It took us over an hour and a half to get connected to the projector which meant we also started very late. That meant we had a lot of people who left. Also, we were not able to connect to the audio Due to us trying to figure out how to connect to the projector. The promises 70 seats and they only had about 20 seats set up. After addressing my complaints, they said that they would try to work things out for the next time. So I rented again $1000 which by the way is an lot for a few hours when I could have used a hotel and this time there was somebody there, thank God to make sure that we were set up however, the lighting on the stage was horrible. You could not even see the speakers and as I shared to them that the lighting was messed up there response there is nothing we can do. When I use the space before the lighting was perfect and we could see all the speakers. I was streaming this event and people were extremely dark. It was very unfortunate because there was no solution and for this to be a theater you would think they would be able to have the stage lit up. Not only that , we were rushed out of the room felt very uncomfortable. It was not told to me that somebody was going to need the room exactly at 6:30 PM. As you know when you’re doing event, you have to break down so I was rushed out and I know for a fact, I left items there. Needless to say, I had an opportunity to speak to some other people who were using the space and they also had complaints. All this is a fun space. It doesn’t seem like they really care too much about making sure their clients are happy. Unfortunately will not be running from them again.

I came to this place on a Friday after booking a comedy show on Groupon. The show was cancelled unexpectedly but we were given free tickets to attend the Game Show Match event which is a comedy dating show. I believe they have it every Friday and it is a fairly new thing. It was great! The hosts were hilarious and the crowd was very entertaining. It was a rainy Friday night but this place was completely packed. There weren’t even enough seats to accommodate the large crowd but it didn’t stop the fun. I believe over 100 people were there. It is also in a very nice area in the city. I would definitely return and recommend for those looking for something to do on the weekend in Atlanta.
