My wife took me to Lobby Bar for my first Father’s Day. We really enjoyed the concept of an upscale bar. We had the Caesar salad and lobby wing board to start. The Caesar was great and the wings were fantastic. Loved having all the sauces to choose from. For the entree, I had the double smash burger and my wife had the glizzy. My smash burger was banging. The glizzy was good but my wife said she could taste the difference between the glizzy and an average hot dog. I definitely did. We had a great host and enjoyed our experience. Look forward to going back.

Stopped into this bar to watch Argentina vs. Algeria with a friend, and Kevin absolutely made the night. He struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving everyone space to enjoy the match. Friendly, kind, quick with recommendations, and genuinely welcoming. Great service can change the whole atmosphere of a place, and Kevin is a big reason we'll be back. If you're lucky enough to have him behind the bar, you're in good hands.

Stop what you’re doing and make a reservation at Lobby Bar! It’s not often that I hand out five-star reviews, but Lobby Bar has easily earned a spot among my favorite dining experiences in DC. From the food to the service, nearly everything exceeded expectations. I’ll start with my only real complaint: the noise level. The restaurant was packed and buzzing with energy, which is good. However, the combination of a relatively small space and all the hard wood meant there wasn’t much to absorb the sound. At times, it was difficult to hear both my boyfriend sitting across from me and our server. It certainly wasn’t enough to diminish the experience, but it’s worth noting. The service, was outstanding. Our server, Mia, was friendly and attentive. She checked in regularly without being intrusive, kept our water glasses full, and everything arrived at a comfortable pace throughout the evening. While the prices are on the higher side, the portions are generous, the ingredients are clearly high quality, and the execution is excellent. At no point did I feel like I wasn’t getting my money’s worth. We started with the house-made chicken nuggets: seven jumbo, golden-brown nuggets served with honey mustard. We passed on the caviar upgrade, and honestly, they didn’t need anything extra. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. They were a great start to the meal. For our entrées, we both ordered the double smash burger. It was one of the better burgers I’ve had in recent memory. The ratio of burger, toppings, sauce, and bun was spot on. Nothing overwhelmed the beef, and nothing got lost. The patties had beautifully crisp edges while remaining juicy and flavorful, and the bun held everything together without turning into a soggy mess halfway through. Instead of the standard fries, I upgraded to the house-made mac and cheese for an additional $5, which was absolutely the right decision. The cheese sauce was rich and creamy, and the rigatoni had been finished under the broiler, creating a golden-brown crust with just the right amount of crunch on top. It was indulgent without feeling overly heavy. For dessert, we split the apple turnover, which was a fantastic way to end the meal. The fresh bacon bits on top of the whipped cream added a perfect sweet-and-salty contrast. If I had one small critique, it’s that I wish the turnover had been served hotter. Some bites were lukewarm while others were still a bit cool, as though maybe it had been warmed but not quite heated all the way through. Even so, it was delicious and certainly didn’t detract from the overall experience. By the end of the night, we were already talking about what we’d order on our next visit. Lobby Bar absolutely lived up to the hype, and with so many tempting items still left on the menu, I can’t wait to go back and explore more of it!

10/10 meal. Everything was a hit. The double cheeseburger and spicy rigatoni stood out the most. The chicken nuggets came out so hot and fresh, and the Caesar salad was just insane. Will definitely be back very soon. The service was also great, the staff were very friendly. Check it out if you’re in the area

The food and drinks were amazing! The price for Happy hour was amazing and I would definitely recommend that menu. The bar staff was a little curt even during slow times but overall I would go back any day

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The customer service from Raul, the bartender, was top-tier and made us feel welcomed the entire time. Happy hour deals were unbeatable — from the $1 oysters to the flavorful wings, everything was fresh, delicious, and worth every penny. The martini was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. A special shoutout to Chef Andre, who truly perfected every dish that came out. You can tell there’s passion and attention to detail behind the food. Between the incredible service, great atmosphere, and amazing happy hour specials, this spot is definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
