Amazing food! The calamari was the best I’ve ever had (I only remembered to take a picture when we were almost finished with it), and the pasta dishes were excellent. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The only downside is that there is just one restroom, but overall it was a fantastic dining experience.

Here's a comfortable slice of Tuscany served-up with pride. We were turned off by the noise and traffic at Grand Central Market across the street and opted for an evening here on the patio. My generous square of lasagna was exceptional. I was pleased with the culinary twist of creamy bechamel, and the refreshing lemon cello prosecco with fresh mint. Gracie mille!

Front of house's hospitality was outstanding despite my inexpensive, solo dining. Fiuggi's light, soft sparkling water let my food on Center stage; even the sliced lemon on top added a volatile citrus aroma. The bread had a good contrast: thin crunchy crust, soft crumb, with good olive oil bringing it together. The spinach‑ricotta filled pasta in butter & sage is a magnificent art of gastronomy: soft, pillowy filling, butter (fat) carrying the dairy flavor. Fresh dough was thin but elastic skin, soft filling. Butter & cheese gave creaming effect. I was glad I declined the server's courtesy offer of more cheese: Parmegiano and salt perfectly finished it. The sage was aromatic, present, warm but never bitter or dominating. It was well calibrated; truly skilled. Tiramisu, my favorite dessert was very disappointing, unfortunately. The deep ceramic bowl was my style: the thermal control maintains the whipped cream's texture. But the cream was very stiff, so it stabilizes in the fridge from the productivity aspect. And there was no lady fingers but the thin sponge (it was soaked in espresso at least). I paid $12 for flavored overly whipped cream, basically. This tiramisu was definitely "Do not order item". I gave 20% tip, because everybody else's performance and execution were awesome.

It has been 10 years since we were last here. The food is still outstanding. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and we were able to get in right away. The restaurant was full, but we timed it just right The food was great, starting with the Friti Misti. We then had the Caesar salad. Also good. For our mains, I had the Cacio Parpadelle with Chicken, and my wife had the Bianchi and Neri Pasta (Black and White pasta). We really enjoyed the food. The service was great and the outdoor patio was really comfortable and pleasant.

A lively Italian spot in DTLA. Validated parking at the back is available. The staff are very friendly and they tried to be as helpful as possible, which was very nice. I enjoy the bone marrow, the salad and the risotto the most. The pastas were delicious too but a tiny too salty for me. The have indoor and outdoor seatings with strip lights, which make the vibe so appealing. Would be great for a date night :)
