Some places have good food, some good drinks and others good service…Mambo’s has all 3, everyone was extremely nice and helpful, Kayla served us and was very accommodating and friendly. The food is no doubt the best, definitely top 3 Cajun spots I’ve ever had. The drinks were great as well, strong and mixed well 10/10, I’ll eat here every time I’m in New Orleans!!

My family and I have eaten here before and it was really good so we decided to come back. Excellent service just like last time and our food came out quickly. Everything was incredibly fresh!

First time in NOLA, thank goodness we found Mambo’s, absolutely amazing food & very friendly staff. Had Blackened Shrimp Alfredo & Blackened Alligator.

I’m am a vey picky eater and I tell you when, I got there I was very nervous because I don’t eat seafood nor spicy food. I ask the young lady if the red beans and rice with sausage was hot/spicy she said no and she didn’t not lie. That food was so delicious with the fried chicken. I had enough for later and the next day and I ate it before I caught my flight. Thank you. Well worth the money.

Food was good, service a bit slow. I have gone to better restaurants for seafood in New Orleans that’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars. Also not family friendly due to the location but that’s a personal preference

We had a fabulous time at Mambo’s. We had a girls weekend in New Orleans and our last dinner was here. We all ordered different food and shared everything. Both the fried and blackened gator was flavorful and tender. The BBQ shrimp was super and our waitress brought us extra rolls to soak up the awesome BBQ liquor - soooo good. We also had Mambo’s grilled oysters that were so tender and yummy, red beans and rice, crab cake pasta. Everything was just fantastic. I can’t forget the cocktails, and bread pudding were also so very good and the sauce on the bread pudding just made you feel all warm and cozy. The serving sizes were good and prices reasonable, but I can’t give a fair per person $$ because we ordered a lot of different items just to try more. Our host sat us by the front in the window so people watching while we were eating was a dinner and a show! And last but certainly not least was our fabulous server Breanna (Bree). She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was perfect!! Thank you Bree for helping us end our visit on a high note. Highly recommend Mambo’s and if Bree is taking care of you, than that is an absolute bonus!!
