What a swanky and terrific experience! From the moment we walked in the door on the first floor we were treated like royalty. There are so many staff, servers, hosts, etc. and every person we dealt with was so warm and kind. The food was beyond delicious and beautifully timed and presented. The view is unsurpassed. If you are looking for a 2-hour, high-end experience you must visit this establishment. Kudos on a job well done!

Manhatta has officially become one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The experience starts with the stunning views from the 60th floor overlooking New York City, but the food and service are what truly make this place special. Every member of the staff was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever being overbearing. We ordered the four-course menu and every course was outstanding. For the first course, we had the Jonah Crab with asparagus, apple, and sorrel, along with the Bluefin Tuna with jicama, shiso, and white soy vinaigrette. The crab was honestly the best crab dish I’ve ever eaten—sweet, delicate, and perfectly balanced. The tuna was equally impressive, incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. For the second course, we chose the Seared Scallop with nduja, watermelon radish, and pea shoots, as well as the Glazed Sweetbreads with morel mushrooms, arugula pesto, and horseradish. Both dishes were expertly executed and packed with flavor. For our mains, we had the Butter Poached Lobster and the Lamb Loin & Rib. The lobster was excellent, but the real surprise was the Koshihikari rice—it was absolutely amazing and one of the most memorable components of the entire meal. The lamb was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the fava bean pesto, almond, and pecorino. Dessert was the Pistachio Cake with strawberry and crème fraîche chamomile ice cream, which was a fantastic ending to the meal. We also enjoyed several mezcal cocktails and wine pairings throughout dinner, all of which complemented the food beautifully. Between the breathtaking views, exceptional service, creative menu, and unforgettable dishes, Manhatta delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in NYC. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back.

We visited Manhatta on a Saturday for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located on the 60th floor of 28 Liberty Street and offers breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island, and New York Harbor. Before our table was ready, we waited in the lounge area and enjoyed the incredible views. A thoughtful touch was the personalized birthday note waiting on our table when we arrived, which made the occasion feel extra special. The atmosphere was elegant but welcoming, and it was interesting to see that many other guests were also celebrating birthdays and special occasions there. We came for lunch and ordered the two-course lunch menu. To start, we had the “Beef Tartare” and “Fluke Crudo”, followed by the “Grilled Sea Bass”, “Dry-Aged Burger”, and “Lobster Ravioli” for our mains. For dessert, we enjoyed the “Coconut Mousse” and paired the meal with red wine and the “Land of the Sun” cocktail. The restaurant has an excellent selection of red, white, and sparkling wines. The service was friendly and attentive without ever making us feel rushed.. We took our time, enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the stunning views, making it a memorable birthday celebration.

The entire experience was seamless. From checking in downstairs to guiding us to our table and everything in between. I think this is the highest server to patron ratio that I’ve ever seen. Commendable. The portion might be slightly on the smaller side, but the food was very delicious. And the view is simply unbeatable.

Found a hidden gem in NYC ✨ 60th-floor fine dining with skyline views… and lunch is only $78. Booked in advance and mentioned it was my dad’s birthday 🎂 They gave us a window table — best seat in the house. Sitting there, enjoying a 3-course lunch while overlooking Manhattan 🏙️ honestly feels way better than squeezing into a crowded observation deck. And let’s be real — NYC observation tickets aren’t cheap 🎫 but here, you get the view + a full fine dining experience for almost the same price. Such a win. We were a group of four, so… we basically ordered the whole lunch menu 😂 and surprisingly, almost everything was good. No misses. . A few years ago, I went to the Top of the Rock — way too crowded, not the best experience. A friend just visited the Empire State Building, and the wind almost blew her away 💨 So this time, traveling with my parents and kids, I had a random idea: skip the observation decks, find a high-rise restaurant instead 🍴 Best decision ever. . Also kinda funny — looking around the restaurant, it was full of people in suits from Wall Street quietly having lunch… and then there was us, clearly tourists 😂 but somehow, that made the whole experience even more special.
