Great location, 10 min walk to the downtown. Nice 3rd floor apartments with own big kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Also I want personally appreciate manager Stefano! My February trip to Providence and therefore my stay in Michie Hostel was affected by huge Blizzard Warning on the East coast because of my flight cancellation. And he managed to keep my reservation for the future trip so I was able to come in April and stay 2 nights without any additional payment. Thank you Stefano and looking forward to staying in Michie again!

Overall I had a really great experience during my 2 day stay at mitchie house. Location is AMAZING at an exceptional value. Mirella made finding my room fast and easy and I really enjoyed her friendly and helpful attitude. I got put up in a perfect room, all the way at the end blocked off from everyone else and a rear facing window, so even the noise of a busy Friday and Saturday night on thayer st was dampened. Would've definitely been louder had I stayed on the other side of the hall. Other guests were very quiet and respectful. THE BAD: bathrooms ran out of toilet paper on my first day and was still not restocked by the time I left 2 days later. Also my towel had a stain that was somewhat questionable. They do not offer parking which should be kept in mind. Everything else was really great for the price! Would definitely stay again

I had a great stay at Michie Hostel. I have stayed here two different times the past two years. The atmosphere is genuinely friendly and welcoming, making it easy to meet people and feel at home right away. A special shoutout to Stefano, who truly went above and beyond in his service and kindness- always helpful, attentive, and clearly invested in making guests feel comfortable. I’d happily recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a relaxed, community-oriented place to stay.

I arrived late at night at the hotel. I hadn’t checked in before on the app, fortunately I had Derian on the phone who assisted me and helped open the door remotely I also had an issue with my room but Derian immediately found solutions he was very patient, kind and very kind to me Derian reassured me enormously and he was available until I settled into my new room comfortably He called me several times to ensure that everything is fine and that my installation is suitable I will not be able to thank Derian enough for his support and help, I was in good hands without him my stay at Providence would have been catastrophic Thank you so much to you Derian for all you have done. Seriously, I have very good memories of Providence and Michie Hostel.

Straightforward and affordable option for staying in Providence! -It's a hostel, so you get what you pay for. I was visiting on a budget, but plenty of folks were staying longer-term, so this place works for either. Everyone I met was convivial and friendly. -The rooms were pretty standard-fare hostel bunk beds. Housekeeping staff do a great job keeping them clean and laundering sheets. More outlets and lamps in the beds would have been helpful. The common space has a basic kitchen. -Check-in and check-out are both self-service, so get ready to download an app to unlock the door and such. I don't think I ever met any management staff, but Stefano and the team keep things working fine! -The neighborhood is really not nice, but as long as you stay smart about staying safe, you shouldn't have any incidents. It's close to downtown and has key bus lines (R, 17, 19, 20) pass nearby, so it's a good location to explore the city from. -One thing worth knowing in advance: the ground floor below the hostel serves as a nightclub on Saturday evenings until about 2am, with music loud enough to make the rooms rattle! So unless you're a heavy sleeper, plan on staying out a bit later on Saturday- or joining the party downstairs.
