We stayed at room 602 on the 6th floor. We reserved our room through Airbnb so we checked ourselves in & that was very easy and smooth. The parking is just across the street and was also easy. Elevators were never too crowded & worked fine. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We visited the Banana Boat Poolside Bar for lunch & the service was good. We also visited the buffet breakfast downstairs & Maggie was so sweet to us. We enjoyed the breakfast as we ate outside with the ocean view. The room was perfect for a couple. Great view of the ocean. Clean & the owners replied to all our messages. Beach access is easy & I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Myrtle Beach. Compared with a few other reviews that aren’t so great, I think it just depends on the unit. Ours is independently owned and we never needed help with anything along the way. Great play for couple or families with children as there is an arcade and a kids water slide area as well, we didn’t use those amenities but we saw them being enjoyed.

Great experience! Staff was great! We had a condo with six people. Roomy and great kitchen with everything we needed. Really happy with our stay. Pools were fantastic. Breakfast was great with very friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

We stayed at Ocean Reef over mother's day weekend. I was pleasantly surprised because when we stayed a few years back it was seeming a little shabby. We ended up poolside again and a big thing for us is there was not loud music playing like last time. Our room had been very nicely remodeled. Also our unit was sparkly clean. I do feel like the elevators could have used a good cleaning but I know that is not easy on a busy weekend.

This was a very nice stay with the friendliness of all the staff. The room was okay but i would have liked it to have been dusted better . Like as in our own homes we may miss the high and low places but I don't like to feel that when i go off. the bathroom was a little small for getting around in it,but i understand that sometimes you have to make the best out of a smaller space. It was remodeled in a nice way. It is simple and overall clean and nice. Next time i may ask foe a one bedroom suite so the bedroom is separate from the rest of the room, if I can get that.

My husband stayed here January 17-19 as we have for many years. The view is amazing! When we first arrived and pulled back the sheets, the sheets were soiled. It was on both the fitted sheet and the top sheet. We told the front desk about it. She sent sheets up with my husband saying that housekeeping would come change them. They never came. So we changed our own sheets. When we spoke to front desk and let them know that we had to change the sheets ourselves, she seemed unaffected. Yet she did give us a free breakfast for our last morning. The breakfast was amazing and the people serving our breakfast was amazing. The outcome is that we will have a hard time returning which makes me sad.
