Had a great experience at Papa Bro’s Steakhouse. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was really nice. Our waitress did a fantastic job and was attentive throughout the meal. We also appreciated that we were seated not long after our reservation time. The portions were generous, and overall it was a really enjoyable dinner. We’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a true high-end steakhouse experience in Houston, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse absolutely delivers. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elevated—classic, refined, and unmistakably luxurious without being stuffy. The bar set the tone right away. The bartender nailed a proper dirty vodka tonic (which, let’s be honest, is rarer than it should be), and the blue cheese–stuffed olives? Game over. So good. We had a large group, and they handled it like pros. Everything was seamless—from service to timing—and having a private, pre-selected menu made the whole experience feel curated and effortless. Every dish that came out was consistently delicious, no weak links. Bottom line: top-tier service, incredible food, and an experience that feels worth the splurge. Definitely a go-to for special occasions… or when you just want to remind yourself you’ve got good taste 😉

Food and service was excellent. Reservation made for 545pm and it was packed when we arrived. Started with 4 oz of the a5 wagyu, tender and served on a salt block which added to great flavor. Next, ordered the octopus carpaccio which was tender, very hard to get with octopus! We shared the filet duo, and were so full we didn't finish it, but the meat was cooked perfectly medium rare, and it was still really good the next time we heated it at home. We received an anniversary dessert, which was very nice of them! Everyone made our first meal here feel special. Alex was our server and he was great! Will definitely consider coming back for other special occasions.

Went here with some business associates during our trip to Houston. It's your typical elegant steak house format, but they execute precisely. Professionally clad wait staff at your beck and call -> very polite and efficient. Fancy sommelier with wine knowledge dating back to the Dark Ages. Ginormous high priced side dishes and everything a la carte. We had a party of 14 and the timing was terrific. Everyone agreed the food was AMAZING... really not one complaint. You can tell by my title what I thought of my lamb chops. They were thick and juicy with just the right char... I am getting hungry again just thinking about them. The Turtle desert was also to die for and I am not really a desert person. The lobster tails were HUGE. Of course all of this comes at a price, but I would not hesitate to go back and do it again.

Pappas Steakhouse is a classic done right. The staff is attentive and friendly. The elegant interior, and a well-designed layout. Beware the bread, it’s dangerously good and easy to fill up on. We started with the lobster deviled eggs, deconstructed with the filling served on the side with bacon. It was bold and indulgent. The cream of spinach side was amazing, and the 16oz prime ribeye was enjoyable, though the center had a slight odd flavor from the grill worth noting. Drinks like the Punta Sur Sunrise are strong and tequila-forward, and dessert, the PB Signature Gooey Pecan Pie, is sweet but balanced, with pecans served on the side rather than baked in. Overall, great service, beautiful ambiance, and food that mostly hits the mark
