We stopped in for drinks and opted to relax in the courtyard since the weather was perfect. I appreciate the art installation in the center, and the greenery and spacing of the seating options throughout. The service was also impeccable. Overall, I loved the ambiance the most.

Came here for a tour once before was really nice. It’s very luxury hotel rooms are amazing. The pool was dope. The penthouse was insanely dope. The views is just a beautiful. This is one of those hotels that you have to treat yourself too. Make sure you also stop by the restaurant and try their meatballs. That was my favorite thing. Drinks a little pricey, but as well worth it!

The hotel is nice and we had some nice views from our room , they are only getting a few stars because the sleep was so uncomfortable due to the rooms getting very hot during the night , when we called to let them know the thermostat is not getting lower they said 70 is the lowest it can go . For a supposed 5 star hotel you get almost nothing free , everything has to be paid for including drinks inside the fridge which gives you no space to store your own beverages . FYI the room does not come with a microwave, you need to request for one , and also we couldn’t get to relax or swim at the pool area , we were kicked out because they were preparing for a private event for later that evening.

My 8-year-old son and I stayed here this past weekend. There was a Pokémon card show at the convention center, and we decided to make a weekend of it. From start to finish, the staff at the Pendry made the stay so amazing and memorable. Not only did we get a lovely welcome amenity - a plushie for my son as well as a plate of chocolates - but they also overheard that we were here for the convention and left my son a thoughtful note and a pack of Perfect Order cards. The room was amazing and spacious. The view over the harbor was gorgeous. While the pool is not yet open, we were able to enjoy the nice weather and play a game of travel chess while admiring the pair of ducks that were napping on the deck. The dinner was wonderful. They offered to make my son a mocktail, which he thoroughly enjoyed. All of the staff - from check-in to check-out - were so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. It really made our getaway weekend incredibly special. My son says that he would give it 10 stars if he could. We will definitely be staying here again!

I attended what I expected to be a sophisticated, invitation-only event: an open-bar champagne tasting with food pairings, an informational session, and a social experience for approximately 120 guests. It was marketed as an upscale, 40+ Black professional gathering, held from 6:00–10:00 p.m., and hosted by a reputable distributor and event promoters. Everything was going well—until 9:00 p.m. An individual identifying himself as the “AV Director” abruptly entered the event, walked straight to the DJ booth, announced, “This event ends now,” and began unplugging lights and AV equipment—while the event was still in progress. Everyone was stunned. 😳 This immediately escalated into a confrontation between him and the DJ. Shockingly, the so-called AV Director then tied his long hair into a bun, as if preparing for a physical altercation—in the middle of a professional event. What kind of professional director behaves that way? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Guests and organizers attempted to de-escalate the situation, but by then the music had been cut and a public scene was unfolding. Event organizers asked him to bring his manager—a short, dark-haired man—who turned out to be just as unprofessional, if not worse. 🤦🏽‍♀️ The manager entered aggressively, refused to listen, and immediately confronted the DJ instead of speaking with the event planners. This reignited tensions. When guests began matching his hostile energy in response to his behavior, he escalated matters further by pulling a classic Karen move—calling the police before ever attempting to resolve the issue with the organizers. That effectively ended the event. It was clear that there had been a miscommunication regarding the contracted end time. That happens. What is unacceptable was the behavior of the staff. It was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. This was my first time visiting the Pendry. The venue itself is beautiful, sexy, and undeniably upscale. Unfortunately, the conduct of the staff left me feeling that we were either unwelcome—or that the individuals employed to represent the venue lacked basic professionalism. I was deeply disappointed by the way the clients, organizers, and guests were treated.
