Start to finish and everything in between was very unimpressive and disappointing. If anyone were to ask us if we have eaten here, we would tell them do not bother eating at Primerose, I think Olive Garden has better flavor and better cooked dishes. It was not busy at all, we waited for the host to set us which was a struggle and then they sit us next to the inky table of a couple with a baby, we are a couple clearly on a date and they have a baby watching their phone and it just was so rude. The waitress was so slow and she had no reason to be. The calamari was so over cooked you didn’t even know what you were eating, the bread tasted old, my husband’s lasagna was literally burnt and chewy and inedible, my pasta dish was bland. I cook better Italian at home and my husband said a stofers lasagna would have been better. We just asked for the check to leave and the waitress noticed the uneaten dishes and we said we just did not enjoy the food and told her why but we would just pay and be done but she went and got a manager, we told her and she acknowledged the burnt lasagna and instead of comping the lasagna completely, she did a 15% discount that covered the calamari and maybe $5 off the lasagna. So we still paid $147 for food we really couldn’t even eat that only left us with upset stomachs the rest of the night. It was just a horrible experience and truly very disappointing considering where the restaurant is located. Stop taking advantage of tourists and do better. They should be ashamed but I’m sure could care less and will continue to serve less than mediocre Italian at outrageous prices. Do yourself a favor and just go get McDonald’s, it’s more enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience for our last night here. The ambiance is great. Our server Jennifer was incredibly kind, attentive and informative. She recommended the redfish special and the bread as a starter both were amazing. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Jennifer and kitchen staff for a 5 star experience

Primrose delivers a great dining experience. The new coastal menu features fresh seafood and local ingredients. I ordered the grilled fish and it tasted fresh. The flavors stood out without being overbearing. The staff provided quick service and made helpful suggestions. I recommend visiting if you want a quality meal in Destin. I will return to try other dishes on the menu.

The space was lovely and open, and if you’re staying at the hotel, it’s super convenient to come here for a meal. The food was good, nicely seasoned and flavorful. My only complaint is the timing. A table that sat down around the same time as us had already finished before our food even arrived. It was still early and the place didn’t seem that busy, so I was a bit surprised. We probably waited around 40 to 50 minutes for breakfast, which felt a little excessive. To their credit, the server was very nice and gave us 20% off for the delay, which I guess was their way of saying sorry.

We had breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The hostess and server were friendly and attentive to our table. The kids waffle was very small. The breakfast otherwise was great. The dinner was good. The crispy cauliflower wasn’t crispy, but it was a big portion. The sushi was very good, just the rolls were not wrapped well and the rolls were cut a little too big. The kids pizza was a lot bigger than expected, but thankfully it was enough for both of our kids. The chicken noodle soup barely had any chicken in it. The Henderson single barrel bourbon was very good! It went down smooth and had a great taste. If you plan to eat here just be prepared to pay a high price.
