Incredible food and the nicest staff in Texas. It’s got a cool vibe and the drinks are stellar. Ranch Water is essential to an evening at Ranch 616! It was created here, but the frozen margarita with prickly pear tempts every time. Paloma and frozen espresso martini are extra. Skillet cookie and banana pudding for dessert. And literally anything on the brunch, lunch or dinner menu is delicious. For Happy Hour try the frito pie and tostadas! Wear stretchy pants, and enjoy this must stop in Austin!

Overall: good experience, but the value did not fully match the hype. We had good service, helped by the restaurant being pretty quiet when we went. The standout was definitely the elote ribs appetizer, which was excellent and easily the best thing we ordered. For entrees, I had the Trout 27, which was well-spiced and solid overall, but not especially memorable. My wife had the shrimp tacos, and those were pretty average. The cabbage came across more like plain, dry bagged cabbage than an actual slaw, and it overpowered the rest of the taco a bit. The rice and beans were tasty, though. The cocktails were the biggest letdown for me. They were very average. For a place with this much hype, I expected the drinks to be much better. With tip, our total was about $120, and for that price, the meal felt overpriced for what we got. Nothing was bad, and the service was solid, but the overall experience was more “pretty good” than “must go back.” Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Overall: good, but probably not a place I’d rush back to at this price point.

Came in around 3pm and only served from the appetizer section and happy hour drinks. That was perfect we only needed a bite. I was blown away, amazing taste. Ordered the fried frog legs and ceviche tostada's . Love it nice atmosphere

Fantastic service by Meg at Ranch 616. We popped in for happy hour and really enjoyed it. Even with them being busy our food and drinks were flowing. We enjoyed their ranch water, and Fritos pie. Everything looked delicious I just wish happy hour was long haha.
