I have been to this hotel for the past month due to my medical treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital and could not be more impressed by how amazing the staff is and how comfortable the rooms are. The front desk staff MyLynn and Lu are so caring and professional on their work. Always helpful and supportive. Amber who is in charge of breakfast start every day saying a loud “Good Morning”. Which brings a smile to everyone - most of us are patients.

The rooms are spacious and well designed to accommodate families with kids. Housekeeping is average (but sometimes they skip on restocking essentials like dish soap) breakfast buffet options are reasonable and comparable to most 3 star US hotels. Some of the staff members are exceptional, Mylenn always goes above and beyond with requests/ accommodations we need during our stay. Amber always welcomes guests into the restaurant with a big smile, and sends a big wave of positive energy. Seeing her every morning during my extended stay was uplifting. She’s incredibly kind, hardworking, and dedicated.

1/5: A Message to Marriott Corporate: You Are Failing Your Most Vulnerable Guests The guests at this hotel are not tourists. They are families with loved ones in a hospital bed at Johns Hopkins, carrying fear, exhaustion, and grief. That reality calls for compassionate hospitality, which this hotel completely fails to provide. Reception / Front Desk > 1/5: At check-in, my brother, cousin, and I were flatly told no rooms were available, with no apology or explanation—just dismissal. We are lifetime Platinum members. Fortunately, a professional woman from the back office resolved everything immediately with grace and competence. She deserves recognition. The agent who turned us away needs retraining or replacing. The next day, the same agent, same rudeness, same zero communication skills when I asked a simple question about a package. This is not just a bad day; it reveals a deeper culture problem. Parking > 1/5: AVOID, $42.00 garage parking plus $8.40 tax, charged on March 19, 2026, for less than 15 minutes of parking. I pulled in, dropped my luggage, and went straight to the hospital. Being charged a full day's fee for under 15 minutes at a hotel that serves families in crisis who can't afford to fight back is unfair. This is not a policy; it is predatory billing. Marriott corporate must investigate this immediately. Location > 5/5, the only saving grace. Minutes from Johns Hopkins, truly invaluable for families in our situation. Sadly, that captive audience seems to have fostered complacency among the staff. To Marriott Corporate: Improve the parking policy. Audit your front desk. Replace rather than just train your staff specifically for medical hospitality. These guests are having their worst week, and your team has made it worse. Thank you & God bless you and your family 😊

We had an extended stay while my spouse received medical care at Johns Hopkins. The rooms were clean and well suited for an extended stay. The staff were always helpful and even changed our room to an ADA accessible space when we needed it. The restaurant food was good. Breakfast was rather routine but certainly readily available and adequate. Valet parking was expensive but long term hospital parking with free shuttle service was available . There were many walkable small eateries and a Walgreens and 7-11 store for supplies. This is an excellent location if you are using the medical facilities nearby.

The room was large and clean and staff was friendly. But could use a few minor repairs (shelf in shower falling off, darkening shades don't fully close, cabinetry showing wear, no soap dish in bathroom, water gets everywhere from shower enclosure and no mat to prevent slipping). We found the bed to be too firm and pillows were very small and too soft/flat. Valet parking was convenient but $50 for one night. This location is highly convenient to Kennedy Kriger. The facility has locked doors after dark requiring use of room key and must use room key to access elevators.
