This is one of the most disgusting hotels I've ever stayed especially as a Marriott member and potential investor. It could earn have a department of health complaint filed as it was totally unacceptable in many ways. I manage to grab some evidence to support my review. I'll spare you the gruesome bits but to note high-level scary stuff found. Housekeeping is a FULL JOKE. We had to switch rooms mid stay (which both rooms were awful) as there was blood in the bathroom and on the bed sheets, pubic hair on the toilet, empty toiletries in the shower that were supposed to be stocked, dirty dishes, gobs of scalp hair wrapped around the balcony rails (like that person surely must be bald after the wad of hair we saw and felt YUCK). Food and or blood smeared on the walls. Additionally, there was an open safety pin/needle which my toddler almost stepped on, someone's wedding ring, and chunks of dust on the vent, toothpaste spittal on the hair dryer, we keep sneezing and encountering a leaky nose. A family member had 2 asthma attacks in the 8 days we were there. However the moment we left for excursions or out for lunch our sinuses and nasal/chest pathways cleared up immediately. The kick off to this biohazard nightmarish stay was on day one the floor was covered in sand, dirt, and hair, to which we called the front desk to send guest services OR housekeeping of handle it. From there the house keeper grabbed a random filthy, sweaty, disheveled wig we found in 1st our room's bathroom with her bare hands and walked out of our room while holding up the wig to see how she could repurpose it and style it. As we followed her to ask about help then she scurried away only to send a housekeeper/maid who was clearly and battling drug addiction to the room 3 hrs later not prepared to vacuumbut do a loogbt t sweep. Our jaws dropped and we were left cleaning the entire rooms ourselves. Spent nearly $300 plus on cleaning stuff and sheets and towels to address it. Leave you think, right?? Well, EVERYWHERE was booked to the tee as it was a holiday week. So we were effectively stranded. Overall, surrounding those 8 days, we called the front desk to lament but to no avail or assistance, pleaded with them to escalate and let us speak with the manger to inform them of the debacle and to reassess our bill, they just ignored and disregarded our concerns all together. Lastly, there was a mess of hair and coffee in the complientary breakfast area (yum!). So all in all price gauged for a putrid hazardous room and terrible service. Terrible!

Had an amazing experience staying here with my fiancee. The hotel staff was amazing, shoutout to Wayne for his amazing hospitality. Best breakfast I had in a hotel so far and drinks and dinner is really good too! The water was out the first night we arrived, but Wayne and the staff were very understanding and apologetic even though that is out of their hands. Honestly besides this little inconvenience everything was perfect. Definitely recommend. Will come back again!

Hello, Thank you for your email. I would like to share my disappointing experience during our recent stay at your hotel and sincerely hope improvements will be made for future guests. My family of five and I arrived on May 25 and were greeted adequately, but not with the level of hospitality and guest-centered service I have come to expect from Marriott properties. During our five-day stay, I requested room cleaning twice at the front desk. Each time, I was assured that someone would come, yet no one ever did. Since we were out most of the day, I had to personally go to the front desk multiple times just to get clean towels. At one point, we completely ran out of toilet paper, and after staff forgot to bring it, I had to go to a room across the hallway and get some myself. I also had to take our own trash out during the stay. We stayed in Room 904. In addition, the hallways were consistently dirty, and unfortunately, the staff were not friendly or attentive. Even during checkout on May 29, when I explained these concerns to the front desk associate, the response I received was simply, “Oh, okay, sorry.” Again, this is not the level of customer service I associate with Marriott. I have been a loyal Marriott guest for many years and have stayed at Marriott properties in many states as well as internationally. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience my family and children have had at a hotel. I normally do not leave negative reviews, as you can likely see from my profile across various social platforms, but this experience was different and needed to be addressed. I truly hope management takes actionable steps to improve service and housekeeping standards so future guests do not experience the same issues. I also hope Marriott continues to maintain the strong reputation and customer relationships it has built over the years.

The entire experience was awesome. Check in went out of their way to help. The entire staff was friendly every encounter. The breakfast was outstanding every morning (a special callout to the breakfast staff). Our view was excellent and beach access was easy. The room and bed were clean, the decor was modern. We only use the restaurant once, but the food was good. The parking ramp was tight, but plenty of parking with easy street access. Really an A+ stay.

Great location with ample parking for visitors and it’s right on the beach. The rooms weren’t brand new but were not run down either just some minor wear in small areas. Beds were comfortable and the employees were all friendly. The breakfast was good but the lines can get a bit long if you’re waiting for waffles or pancakes. I would recommend adding a tray with pancakes/waffles already made to keep it moving for those that don’t want to make their own. Pool area was good, with plenty of chairs to sit. It was my first time visiting the area and i’ll be looking to stay at this location next time I return.
