This is a great restaurant. The food was rich and delicious. On the rich comment, if you need to limit your salt and butter intake, you may have difficulty finding a lot of options, but I would give them a try. With everything made from scratch, you probably will be able to convince them to reduce whatever you need. I had the trout and the others in my group had steak. All were great, but the crown of the meal was the creme brulee. Do not skip it, because it is the best that I have had.

May 2026 I was in Austin for a Sting concert and there were several of us. So, we decided to drop in the Roaring Fork for appetizers and drinks. We called it and made reservations in advance for a party of 6 and requested we be seated in the bar area. When we arrived, our table was ready, and we were quickly seated. Our server, Tom, came over and greeted us. He took our drink orders while we reviewed the menus for various appetizers to share amongst the 6 of us. Upon his return, we ordered several appetizers. This included, everything from sliders, to tacos, to a bowl of spicy beef barbecue with accompanying tortillas. As for beverages, everything from margaritas, to Shiner bock, to IPAs, we're ordered. Tom did very well take care of us. Obviously he is an experienced server. The décor and bar area inside is real nice. There's a fireplace, there's also look like what appears to be private dining rooms and other areas to e seated. I did not notice if there was any outside seating, but my overall assessment was a very nice experience. I would like to come back and have dinner sometime. I hope if you decide to visit in this restaurant that you're experiencing as good or better than mine.

Roaring Fork has amazing food in a “modern meets rustic” vibe. The prices are reasonable while the service is exceptional! The waitstaff knows the menu and what cocktails and wines pair well with your food selection. The chef has created dishes that have complimentary flavors that delight your tastebuds. I recommend reservations and while they do use linens on the tables, casual dress is acceptable.

We had date night dinner at the DT location and we're excited about trying out the menu. To start We ordered the corn bread and green pork stew, it was ok. Then for main dishes we ordered the duck and the ribeye which both were both tough and chewy however they were seasoned very well. And for dessert we split a crème brûlée which was nice. Margaritas were good but again nothing really stood out. If anything, the start of the show was the corn bread.

Our meal started with the cornbread delicious we also had the halibut and bone in ribeye food was to die for A+ all the way they even surprised us with a complementary dessert. Thank you for starting our evening off right!
