This hotel is a joke. It has a nice, luxurious lobby and after that it's all down hill. There is a rooftop pool and a bar/restaurant (Vessel) but during our $700 Friday-Sunday stay, it was closed for "private events" so we were not able to enjoy the amenities of waterfront views and drinks. There is no parking, just pay-per-hour street parking and pay to park lots that they offer discounts for. The bottom floor units are outside of the hotel, so you have to walk out into the street, into the hotel and up to the 3rd floor to swim. There are 10 chairs by the pool, and the pool is small so not alot of room to relax if it's busy. If you are on the bottom floor, you are going to get all of the street noise, people walking by looking directly at you in bed, and there are no blackout curtains, just sun blocking shades. Our shower was a handle held sprayer only so you had to hold it to wash your hair/body or else it sprayed directly out of the shower. The person above us walked around for hours and we could hear the creaking of the floor above us, like a rubber band snapping over and over while we were trying to sleep, as well as shower/sinks/toilets running and flushing. At 1230am the fire alarm went off so everyone had to evacuate into the street, kids and adults standing outside in their pajamas and then there was no announcement, we were just allowed back in after the fire department came. One the second day, we got a call about a note on record that our phone was not working... we didn't call about that so alot of disorganization from the staff. It was definitely a bizarre fever dream that I would NOT recommend to anyone but an enemy.

Our stay at The Roost was absolutely amazing! After driving two and a half hours from out of state, arriving at another subpar hotel, and having to quickly cancel our reservation, finding The Roost at the last minute truly felt heaven-sent. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe. The location is perfect—situated in the beautiful Baltimore Peninsula, close to shopping, convenient to I-95, and just a short distance from the excitement of the Inner Harbor. The property exceeded our expectations in every way. From the stunning lobby and well-equipped fitness center to the pool and café, every detail contributed to a wonderful experience. One of our favorite features was the in-room washer and dryer, which was an unexpected and incredibly convenient bonus. We also enjoyed being within walking distance of Rye Street Tavern, where the food and cocktails were outstanding. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend The Roost to anyone visiting Baltimore!

From the moment we arrived at ROOST Baltimore, we were impressed. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, setting a great tone for our stay. The entire property and the surrounding area are pristine, modern, and brand new. It truly feels like moving into a luxury apartment—without any of the actual moving stress! The rooms are remarkably spacious, stylishly designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay by the city. It’s also very well-located; we loved being within walking distance of local gems like a charming nearby cafe and distillery.

Roost is located in a up and coming location in Baltimore. Lots a great places to walk to and felt very safe. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful and have a wonderful tranquil vibe. Only negative feedback I have was the beds were firmer than I prefer but that is personal preference. We ended up cutting our trip a little short but Brad, one of the mangers there, helped take care of us and made even that a great experience. Fantastic location with world class service. And for you fitness folks, the gym is surprisingly well equipped for a small space. Enough free weights to make any work out engaging

We recently stayed at Roost Baltimore for an upcoming cruise. This was our first time staying at a Roost property and we look forward to our next visit. The rooms are nicely appointed, very clean and spacious. Our stay was during the “Snowpocalypse 2026” event so we didn’t get to explore the area but the location is very convenient to local restaurants and shops. Everyone on staff we talked to was very friendly and professional. Shout out to Mike (Front Desk) for taking care of our room key issue so quickly. He was very accommodating! And if you get a chance to purchase Taisha’s homemade chicken and dumplings, do so! Delicious!!! We cruise out of Baltimore regularly and with Roost Baltimore only 8/10ths of a mile from the port entrance, I have a feeling we will be returning customers. We highly recommend this property.
