Rats in the patio/terrace located next to the restaurant (in the rooms, too?)! Pretty average restaurant - probably the worst location of CUT by Wolfgang Puck (bc of food and diluted cocktails, of course)...

This is a very nice hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms are very comfortable, the location is super convenient. One complaint - the “include breakfast” package is $70 a couple. A simple breakfast with juice and coffee runs $70 a person. If we had known the prices were this high - we would have skipped the breakfast. Ended up doing breakfast both days of our stay because we paid for it. There are plenty of breakfast places in the neighborhood - this is a bit of a scam.

*Excellent service* from the front desk manager on Wednesday evening when I needed to book a last-minute room for my mother whose international flight was cancelled. The reservation wasn't appearing in the system because it was booked shortly before she was arriving, but I wanted to ensure that the confirmation had gone through and my card was on file for payment. The woman continued to check her system while my mom was en route and called me back to confirm and then again to let me know my mother had checked in and was on the way to her room. Was honestly wow-ed by that level of service ensuring that everything was booked and paid correctly and calling me back twice. It's too bad I don't travel to DC often because this would be my go-to hotel!

I liked this hotel but I loved the door man 10/10 trust me 🙏 he deserves 5x bonus has better service than most of the concerige team people but the reason why I did 3 ⭐️ and not 4 or 5 is because it’s next to a sketchy aleway and there was vodka seltzer at my door stairs ?? And some powder in side? Kinda werid for a rosewood but anyways great hotel amazing food 🥘

Sin embargo, también considero importante compartir de forma honesta aquello que un huésped puede encontrarse durante su estancia. Mi experiencia en Rosewood Washington, D.C. estuvo muy por debajo de las expectativas que uno asocia con Rosewood. La propiedad transmite una sensación de desgaste evidente y, en mi opinión, necesita una renovación importante para volver a ofrecer el nivel de lujo, cuidado y sofisticación que caracteriza a la marca. El mantenimiento general del hotel no está a la altura del posicionamiento de Rosewood, y en varios aspectos se percibe una falta de atención al detalle impropia de un hotel de esta categoría. Es una lástima, porque el potencial de la propiedad es enorme: la ubicación es excelente y podría convertirse fácilmente en uno de los mejores hoteles de Washington. Dicho esto, quiero destacar especialmente la profesionalidad y amabilidad del equipo humano. Durante nuestra estancia, Ismail Khalisi fue especialmente atento y resolutivo, haciendo todo lo posible por minimizar los inconvenientes y mejorar nuestra experiencia. Ese nivel de hospitalidad por parte del personal fue, sin duda, lo más positivo de la estancia. Espero sinceramente que la dirección del hotel tome nota de este feedback y acometa las mejoras necesarias, porque sería una pena que una propiedad con tanto potencial continúe alejada del estándar que normalmente representa la marca Rosewood.

Rosewood in DC has great potential, but comparing it to other rosewood properties around the globe this is probably the worst. The first townhome given to us had a tick problem on the first floor, which is not something you want to deal with the first day you check in. We were offered another townhome which was good, another small thing we noticed was when we asked for toiletries such as toothpaste we were given some generic toothpaste made produced in some province in china. Paying a certain amount of money for this you expect better. Lastly we noticed some smaller things like kitchenette sink handles falling off and fireplace not working.
