My visit to Rowley Inn was fantastic! I have to admit driving up to it was less than idea but upon walking in I was sure this is exactly what I wanted and needed. The server/bartender was very prompt to seat us, and she provided us with our drinks immediately. I was a little overwhelmed by the size of the menu and honestly, that made me concerned. But I ordered the perch dinner and my friend ordered the beet salad. We shared with one another and let me just say I am so grateful that she chose to share with me because that beet salad was damn near orgasmic! 😋 It's a must-try! The perch was excellent as well, cooked to perfection 👌🏽 with a lightly battered outside. We had leftovers to take home. But I'm glad we opted for a piece of key lime cheesecake to share. It was stupendous and the perfect ending to our dinner.

Grabbed breakfast here on Memorial Day. The environment is really nice, inviting, and energetic. I had the corned beef hash and split a Big Ass Pretzel with my group - both hit the spot and were quite tasty. Cool tidbit: it’s across the street from the house from A Christmas Story (I only learned this that day because I was in from NY and had never been to Ohio before).

I am unfamiliar with the area but was working next door for a little over a week and my experience was good enough the first day that I returned multiple times within that week, hence the different pictures. The exterior looks like it would be a little hole in the wall with hit and miss food but it was anything but that. Walking up, the smell alone was mouth watering. I started with the chicken fingers and chose the ghost pepper dipping sauce. On initial look they appear to be slightly overcooked but it turned out to just be the breading. The seasoning was on point, with a crispy exterior and very juicy inside. If you are a fan of spicy and enjoy the flavor and heat of a ghost pepper, I do highly recommend trying the sauce. 8/10 on heat and it definitely taste the flavor of the pepper. Meal rating: 7/10. The second day I got the Philly cheese steak as take-out. To my surprise it was little chunks of steak and not the shredded meat you would typically see. Meat was cooked perfectly, the bread was lightly toasted with a great mixture of flavors from the different cheeses. Meal rating: 9/10. The following day I wanted to try a burger and ended up trying the Clevelander. Comes with 1/2 lb patty, kielbasa pieces, a pierogi, Kraut and cheese. This thing was enormous! Fantastic seasoning on the patty, the pierogi was cooked perfectly with a nice crispy outside and warm gooey inside. I highly recommend this burger. Yes, you will have to smash it down some to fit it in your mouth but the combination of flavors and textures compliment each other so well. Meal rating: 10/10. The last day we were working we decided to get breakfast and I got the smothered breakfast burrito. I'm a huge fan of chorizo so I tend to gravitate towards meals with it when available. Again, another meal that was perfectly cooked with great flavor. I appreciated that the sauce and Pico weren't loaded on the burrito to the point they overpowering. Meal rating: 8/10. I tried some of the food that's other's ordered while we were they and everything was great. The fries were fantastic, recommend trying the garlic parm and the Cajun seasoning. The bacon wrapped tots are huge and seem to be a favorite here. At first glance the price might seem a little high but for the the quality of food it is worth every cent. Staffing was great. Polite, with great service and very attentive. If you are in the area visiting the Christmas Story house or just looking for somewhere new to try, you will not be disappointed. I will be back any time I am in the area. Thank you for the great food and service.

This is a perfect blend of great local food and great service. So many tasty things on the menu it will be tough to pick just one so you should go with a group of friends and sample as much as you can. Located right across the street from a a Christmas Story house- the menu is filled with belly fillers!

Wonderful staff, warm atmosphere, great food and drinks. Not much more you can ask for, really. Perfect spot for a brunch mimosa (or breakfast...) and more. I was expecting standard bar fare and I was blown away by how good the food was. I think the bacon wrapped potatoes may have altered my standard of potatoes for the rest of my life. Cannot recommend enough. Make sure to read the "water gets hot" stickers on the mirror when you are in the bathroom, though. They are NOT lying. Parking is a little difficult especially with the snow. You may have to find street parking further down and walk to the restaurant.
