Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing and so was the staff! The atmosphere really gives it an authentic cozy vibe! My party was able to sample a few dishes and they were all incredible Labne - Tarte and creamy Whipped Feta + Pistachio - Fav of the table. So flavorful Hummus & Fried Haloumi - I meannn come on Za'atar fries - seasoned to perfection Falafel - Had a great kick to it Shrimp + Lamb Merguez - Delicious grilled flavor As you can see from the plates in the photo, they were being wiped clean haha! We also got a yummy mascarpone ice cream for dessert that had a Baklava vibe that was really good. Not too sweet either :)

Shuka is, quite simply, excellent. Located along a quieter stretch of MacDougal Street, it feels like a place meant to be discovered rather than advertised, one whose reputation is built organically through the steady chorus of glowing reviews that, once visited, prove entirely justified. The space itself is modest in its decor yet warmly arranged, creating an atmosphere that invites lingering. There is an ease to the room, a sense of calm enjoyment that encourages conversation and unhurried dining. The menu is best approached in a spirit of sharing. Portions are thoughtfully sized, making it easy to sample a variety of dishes and appreciate the breadth of flavors on offer. Each plate reveals a careful balance—vibrant, satisfying, and clearly composed with intention. The wine list complements the kitchen well, offering selections that pair seamlessly with the cuisine. The staff is another strong point: attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly, adding to the overall sense of hospitality that defines the experience. Shuka is a place I would readily recommend, an inviting, flavor-driven restaurant that rewards both curiosity and return visits.

This wonderful Mediterranean place was discovered accidentally. Nice environment, super friendly and helpful staff, but the food is what makes it so special. Small or larger plates are all tasty, and perfectly prepared and presented. We sampled the baby beat salad and charred broccolini, as well as the beef and lamb patties, Grilled Artic Char, and a Lamb Kebab. Looking forward to our next visit.

Good food. loved our server, very attentive. Loved the vibe we truly enjoyed the Moroccan mint tea, the fattoush salad, the zatar fries was so good. chicken kabab was flavorful the pistachio feta blend was so good w pita bread. Everything fresh. Reservation a must. it got crowded for a Monday night. Never thought of having an olive oil cake we tried it and loved it. We got to meet the executive chef Ayesha which was nice.

Absolutely outstanding experience! The food at Shuka was excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had a great energy without being too loud. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was spot on. Highly recommend this place if you’re in SoHo and want a meal that’s both delicious and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back! The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced, and the portions were just right. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything — food, service, and vibe — comes together so perfectly.
