Historical gem. We were tired from a day of work and driving but wanted a drink and bite to eat and this place looked fun. We didn’t realize the history behind it and enjoyed the endless interior and atmosphere. Blues music was next door but we wanted to be able to talk so we sat in the entry bar. Service was fine, they were busy but managed to fit us in as needed for drinks. Food was good, especially the chicken wings, quesadilla, and we also liked the slippery noodle sticks (melty cheese inside bread). Would do this again.

Had to visit this iconic Blues bar on our Indianapolis visit. Their food blew us away. It was our first time trying the Pork tenderloin sandwich and it was so juicy.

Just blocks away from the Lucas Oil stadium made this the perfect spot to stop in for a quick liberation. Enter through the street level if you want to go to the bar. Enter from the parking lot of you want to go to the restaurant. Prices were very reasonable $8 for don Julio and cranberry! Live music starts at 8 pm and on Fridays they had two areas with live music. Bartender was very attentive and even gave a history lesson on the building for us

I stopped here for some dinner and to enjoy some live blues music. This place excelled on both accounts. I didn’t have a chance to hear more about the history of the location, but it’s been around a while. The staff was professional, and I got my order in before the music started. The tenderloin sandwich was great, and wasn’t too greasy or excessive. The flavor was very pleasant. The blues music was also very enjoyable, and I highly recommend the place for the quality of the talent that comes through here. This isn’t a super fancy place, but it’s definitely worth spending some time in.

I really enjoy coming to this bar! This is one of my favorite spots in town. The place is spacious with tons of seating, and they have a great selection of drinks along with affordable food options. The atmosphere is always lively, especially on jazz nights or when they have live music. I’ve come in a few times to see my friend Zach Day perform, and the vibe is always awesome. It’s definitely a great place to relax, enjoy some good music, and hang out with friends.
