Fantastic experience from start to finish. The desserts were incredible.

The pasta with meat Ragu was the best!!! Amazing taste. Loved the shape of that pasta too. Fish was good too. Refreshing taste. Lamb was too burnt to my liking. Scallop appetizer was very tasty.

While a bit expensive, this was an excellent dining experience. Ordered the double cheeseburger which was very well made. The fries ended up being my favorite part as they were delicious and perfectly crispy. Didn’t personally try the cocktails, but those I went with said they were some of the best they’ve tried

Super disappointed with the food. How could you mess up a burger? Can you even call this lettuce in the photo? Embarrassing. Was extremely over-salted, cheap meat. Waitress never asked me how I wanted it cooked and then told me the restaurant doesn’t allow ketchup. Get real.

We celebrated our elopement dinner at Southwark, and it was nothing short of perfection. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our day feel monumental. The food was truly on another level-every single dish was amazing. You can tell the kitchen puts incredible care into the flavors and presentation; our family couldn't stop raving about the meal. Beyond the food, the team treated us like family. Their warmth and attentiveness made the entire experience stress-free and deeply personal. Southwark is now officially endeared to our hearts, and we can’t wait to be frequent visitors for years to come. Thank you for making our special day unforgettable!

My friend and I had the best night here…we popped over for a drink after dinner and were greeted by the most lovely, warm hostess who immediately made us feel taken care of. We were seated immediately. From the hostess, waitress, servers and more, everybody was BEYOND accommodating to my food allergy (gluten) and even offered some alternative options. The vibe was immaculate..music was such a vibe and the ambience was giving New England summer. This is going to be our new spot. Can’t say enough great things about the staff!!!! 10/10 experience, and great dirty martinis ;)

I gave this restaurant 4 stars because they add a 3% credit card surcharge to your bill. For an expensive restaurant like this, I consider this unacceptable. Everything else was excellent - the food, service and the atmosphere. The wine list is limited and expensive. Overall a very nice, cosy Philadelphia restaurant.

What an incredible dining experience! Service: we were a little late to our reservation but we had no issues getting seated and served right away. Everybody was kind, helpful, and informative. Our server answered all of our questions and was happy to help us make food and drink choices. Food: amuse bouche - delicious rutabega, apple, and tarragon soup. It was perfect and really elevated the experience for us. Such a nice gesture from the kitchen Tuna crudo - perfectly fresh fish, tangy and crispy, and herby accompaniments. Well thought out Goat cheese gnudi - soft and pillowy texture, melts in your mouth, great contrast with the crispy pancetta Papardelle with smoked pheasant - perfect pasta texture, smokiness really comes through in a pleasant way Caramelized onion ravioli - the onions were great, came off a little bit more sweet than I would've liked, but otherwise well balanced with the marrow crema sauce Citrus olive oil cake - so well done. The zinginess of the citrus fruits, the variety of preserved vs fresh fruits, and the lovely whipped labneh texture and crispy meringues all worked together in a perfect way. Will dream of more cake Atmosphere: quiet where you can enjoy your conversation, but has fun backround music so it's not stuffy or high strung. Staff are busy but it never feels rushed or stressful. Pricing: reasonably priced for the high end experience and dishes. They're not trying to be anything that they're not which I really appreciate. The food comes first, and pricing suits the high quality of food without being pretentious

My partner and I have been meaning to visit Southwark for years. Doing so for my fortieth birthday made it totally worth the wait. The entire experience was exceptional! The ambiance at the bar, the bartenders, the other clientele (also celebrating a couple of birthdays in the mix), the cocktails, food—seriously all of it made for a perfect evening out. Thanks to Randall, Perry, and James for their warmth and excellent service. We look forward to visiting again soon. Cheers!
