I had such a great experience at this hotel. I was attending a professional conference from June 25-27, 2026. The customer service from the staff was top tier. I would like to highlight some exceptional employees: Adam, Tanya , Mr. Linwood, and Tairah at the front desk. Thank you for making us feel at home. The rooms were clean. Customer service was great. The breakfast was complimentary and had many options.

Great experience! Just need to work on having more than one elevator (frequently had to wait upwards of more than five minutes and was really inconvenient) and there wasn’t a set place to unload your vehicle- they can’t help where the hotel is (which was unpleasant) but having an area to unload your car safely would be neat. Also, the door of the room would jam frequently and it wouldn’t close properly, which was a safety concern. But, the hotel was very clean and breakfast selection was excellent.

Springhill Suites by Marriott by the Baltimore Covention is a great choice when you are staying in the area. The rooms are comfortable and there’s a 24hr gym to get a quick workout in at your convenience. Only issues were that my TV displayed someone else’s name on the welcome screen and the Marriot Bonvoy app didn’t log my stay. Highlight of my trip was the excellent and kind customer service giving by Linwood, during breakfast, who gave credit to his grandma. P.S. Be careful what direction you take to the convention center, as the neighborhood gets rough just 1 block from the hotel. Walk straight down the hill and you’re good.

Unfortunately we were not satisfied at all with our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a giant dead rat right outside the building. From the initial contact with the front desk, to walking away the customer service from the staff was extremely underwhelming and not hospitable AT ALL. We called 3 different times ahead of our scheduled stay just to give heads up that we would be arriving early and would need a possible early check in. THAT WE WOULD PAY FOR...That's was not even attempted to be convenienced. No biggie. I can understand that... I guess. When we did arrive early to check bags, the attendant was nowhere to be found and the front desk just said to wait for them, so we sat in the lobby. We had been driving and flying all day and needed to use the restroom. Apparently, we needed a key card just to use that facility which was off-putting for a place a nearly paid $700 to stay at for 2 nights. The staff member couldn't be bothered to even make eye contact while handing the key card across the counter. Every interaction we had with staff from there on was disappointing. Not a single "Hi" "Hello" "Good Morning" "PLEASE" or "Thank you" or "Your welcome"!? For a business in hospitality, this was not the right place to find it. Room was fine. View was nice. It really was the staff that made it less than enjoyable.

The place was very nice and my room clean. But every person at the front desk was rude and curt. Most of Baltimore was nice, and I met friendly people across the city. So it was really odd that the front desk people made me feel so unwelcome. Their words and manners made me feel like I was bothering them just by checking in! I found myself saying "have a good day" and then feeling like a chump when they said nothing back.
