Must get, the Leek toast! Mackenzie was so sweet and gave us such good recs. We sat in the heated patio and ordered a delicious bottle of Chenin - great wine selection!!

Pricey, but some solid dishes like leek toast, onion dip, rockfish carpaccio. Poached chicken was egregiously expensive and not that great. Yummy desserts. Chill nice staff. Tables on sidewalk are a little too close to the action of the street. They should probably limit it to the confines of the immediate outside area. Restricted residential parking after 6pm, but can find some free meter street parking or go off Melrose two blocks down.

What a let down. Muddled flavors, tiny portions and awkward service. All the dishes lacked balance in flavors and needed a big squeeze of lemon. Chefs in LA need to work on flavors instead of only learning to plate pretty. Anchovies - extremely salty I choked. Summer squash - a few barely cooked chunks in tomato sauce Scallop crudo - somehow they’ve managed to make a passion fruit sauce taste like nothing. Fish collar - so many fish bones and again where is the lemon. There is a reason why hamachi collar traditionally comes with lemon. Tuna tartare - literally can’t describe the flavor to you.

The only reason worth trekking to Melrose. You can order the entire menu here and can’t go wrong. Stand out dishes are the anchovies, celery salad, and crudo’s. They slice their meat in house - the iberico ham is perfect. The place itself is so sweet. The staff are incredible - from the cooks to the service, everyone is so kind and welcoming. Christain is the best! Every time I leave I look forward to coming back.

Beautiful small plates with a modern Italian feel complete with natural wines, served in a cosy and friendly environment – perfectly executed! Definitely hit it!
