I found this place by accident after the ShakeShack said they wouldn't accept cash. Burger and fries at ShakeShack are the same price and made by Industrial Food service facility. Summer House Santa Monica makes things from scratch. Awesome food, great service. $20 burger with 2 homemade patties, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and fries was one of the best burgers I have had in ages. Cold beer - average airport prices. Nice place to have a good meal and a drink before your flight.

If you have celiac or a food allergy, please do not be fooled. Disney springs Summer House on the Lake is incredibly attentive to allergies; this one is NOT. I am unable to eat gluten, had a full conversation with the waitress about it, and was assured multiple times I can eat the burgers with a gluten free bun. I ordered a gluten free bun and when the food came out, I trusted my waitress and ate my meal. I started feeling sick after eating more than half of it. I asked a passing server, who told me it was NOT a gluten free bun. When my father spoke to the waitress, she denied that I ever spoke to her about it, and the manager sided with her and claimed that they couldnt do the burger with a gluten free bun in the first place. Celiacs, please beware!

The breakfast sandwiches were not very good. Greasy and overcooked. Their order kiosks don't have the breakfast sandwiches on the menu and the POS cash register was down. Almost missed my flight waiting for it to be rebooted. Don't need added stress when flying!

This place is beautiful! Great atmosphere! Wonderful waitress!! And the food was 20 bucks for each meal and DELICIOUS!! Husband had fish tacos I had the turkey club!!!
