Went for brunch on Sunday. We sat at the bar because there was no wait. Bartender #1 took our order. He wasn't particularly friendly and gave the vibe that we were bothering him. Then he told us that ALL 3 types of pressed juices were out and didnt offer any type of substitute. When we got our food, my brother said his hollandaise sauce tasted more like cheese sauce and the best thing about his dish was the potatoes. My beef hash only had 1 egg on it. I never been to a place that served only 1 egg on an dish. There were 2 young ladies sitting next to us. Bartender #1 would go and refill their coffees and not even check on us. When he finally came around, I asked for a water refills and my brother's water was the only one that got refilled. We finally had better service with Bartender #2. I noticed #1 spent most of his time on the other side of the bar talking to a group of people. Such a great atmosphere but disappointing food and service.

Lily (Lilly?) was our server and she was so wonderful!!!!!!! So attentive and sweet. She said it was her first night serving— she was a natural! She made sure everything we needed was there and was precise with every movement. She made our first time at Summer Place felt cozy and welcoming. We will return! All her recommendations are what we got and they were all delicious.

Came here for a birthday dinner celebration. Beautiful ambiance, great cocktails, and delicious food. The caviar on the deviled eggs added a unique pop of flavor, and the Gold Coast Burger was so flavorful. Our server was attentive and personable. I will definitely return!

What a fortunate change of plans that brought us to Summer Place for the first time for Sunday brunch. We were seated by the windows so we got to enjoy the views of frozen Lake Erie. The service was exceptional and the food was wonderfully presented, tasting even better than it looked! YUM!! I had the short rib hash and the hubby had Mickey's Big Breakfast- the steak was medium-rare as ordered. The meals were nicely priced and worth every penny! Even more inspiring is the restaurant's partnership with Awakening Angels - phenomenal food AND profits going to a truly worthy cause = WINNING!! We will definitely return to try some other menu items.

The atmosphere here is perfect. The views of the lake and city as well as the natural light make for a very fun and welcoming environment. You feel fancy being there without the stuffiness and awkwardness of some other upscale restaurants. The food is great as well as the drinks.
