The decor and atmosphere was beautiful, vibrant, not to noisy, lighting was right. People were dressed up celebrating and really enjoying themselves. Food and drink was delicious. Different from my TexMex at home. Server was knowledgeable and explained culture background and presentation. Really enjoyed the flavors glad we made reservations.

Great food, cool ambiance, and good drinks. Bar tender was excellent. Mocktail was good for my daughter. Would love to go back ever night. Get a reservation!! We snuck into 2 bar seats but restaurant was booked up.

The 'Rainforest Cafe' of Mexican restaurants, if you're into that vibe. Am I in Miami? Atlanta? Houston? Dunno, but it's an escape from New Orleans, if that was your intent. This is the type of chain that could become quite popular in major cities across the U.S., like a Mexican Cheesecake Factory, a restaurant designed for Instagram. The vibe is LOUD, like shake your table loud, and then, all of a sudden, it gets super loud for an extended remix of the Happy Birthday theme, in English, then again in Spanish. This could happen more than a few times, depending on how many b-day celebrations are in the house. Then, the occasional Anniversary celebration with 'Dancing in the Dark' and who knows how many other theme songs are cued up for special events. The service is very attentive and friendly. The drinks are creatively crafted and presented, each in their own special glass, ceramic or other container. The food is pretty decent although some menu items are quite pricey. This is the type of restaurant I would typically avoid, particularly in a culinary city like NOLA, but it's hugely popular, especially with Latinos as there's always a line of folks waiting. It may be just the type of place you're attracted to.

Loved the atmosphere, food and camaraderie of this restaurant… Many notable elements, from the clothesline Birria tacos, to the basket of tacos with a bicycle to the delicious virgin Mojito and rechargeable lit menu, everything was on point. Very Instagram worthy elevated option when you’re in New Orleans for a concert or event at the smoothie King Center or Superdome. Loved the bathroom and the details with the floor to ceiling door for extra privacy as well as a vacant, occupied door latch and vibey details. Highly recommend to stop here.
