Great restaurant right in the theater district of Buffalo. Server was friendly and efficient, atmosphere was great and food was delicious my small only complaint was my salmon entre was a little small definitely not filling for $30 bucks but very tasty. Will go to again.

Took almost 3 hours for delivery on DoorDash on a Friday. When my food finally arrived it was cold. Not sure what happened here but dashers changed twice. I guess I’m saying don’t order from this place on DoorDash. Food was ok at best.

We went to the Bijou for lunch prior to a show at Shea's theater. We had the warm olives, chicken salad sandwich and a grilled chicken Greek salad. All tasted OK- nothing spectacular, not bad either. We sat outside. There were TONS of bugs that flew into our food. What was my biggest disappointment was when a waiter decided to close our umbrella (got safety as it was windy), so many bugs dropped our our food and not a single comment or anything even when I said somethings. I will not be returning.

A bright ending to a rainy day! Came for dinner following the matinee of Jesus Christ Superstar. We had a lovely table upstairs overlooking Main St. The restaurant completely filled up and it seemed like all at once, so it felt very buzzy and the place to be. This didn’t affect service or timing of food at all - not their first rodeo, I’m sure. Everyone from the host to our server, Lauren, were fantastic. We ordered Brussels sprouts and wine for the table. I had the horseradish crusted salmon and it was by far my favorite preparation of salmon since moving back to the area 4 years ago, strong flavors, nice texture with a little crunch from the crust and a perfect cook and seasoning on the fish. It was served over rice with crispy spinach which I’d never had before but it was a creative and tasty way to jazz up a kind of boring vegetable and make it memorable. Others at the table ordered the filet, the pork chop and all really enjoyed their dishes. There was a lot to choose from so will definitely be back. Cant believe I didn’t get a photo of the food, that’s how you know it looks too good to let sit.

Interesting place. Nice atmosphere and good food. Todd? The bartender is also an interesting character. Pricey but good.
