The staff are nice enough. Food is mediocre and atmosphere is a bit scary. South Carolina, or at least Myrtle Beach, allows smoking in restaurants. The restaurant stunk to high heaven. We sat outside. Wings looked scary, I didn't actually eat one. Had a few onion rings and we got out of there. Of you love the boardwalk, you will love this place. If you hate the boardwalk, you will hate this place too.

The Bowery is a must-visit in Myrtle Beach. Great music, excellent bartenders, and a lively, welcoming crowd make for a fun and memorable atmosphere. A true local classic that delivers every time.

Stumbled across this bar last year while walking to the boardwalk while on a girls trip and so glad we did. All the staff is super friendly. But, the bartender Nick made the experience a good one! He took such good care of us and provided great and quick service to us! He is the reason we just returned for the second year in a row on our annual girls trip and he never disappoints! The bar is a fun dive bar with great live music!

My husband and I were first timers looking for some live music. The atmosphere here was great. The bar service also super fast and great drinks even when packed. The band that was playing was also very entertaining and played a good country/rock mix. The crowd was loud but respectful and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

We were on the strip to shop, and grew hungry after walking around for a while. We happened to walk by The Bowery, and the music and atmosphere kinda pulled us in. Our waiter was very personable, and attentive. My burger was really good, but my boyfriend and sister weren't too impressed by the fried shrimp. They did like the drinks though! Definitely worth a trip, and will probably be back next visit!
