What a disappointment, you all know I hate leaving a bad review, but here we go. I've come here before for lunch and had the shrimp and grits (that was actually good), this past visit on Saturday - lunch was an epic fail. Topher, my server was solid and nice enough, but the food, the food what a joke! There is ABSOLUTELY no way that fish and chips dish won anything - the level of grease was absurd. I'm a pescatarian, so y'all know, I know what quality [fried] fish tastes like. The entire bottom of the fish was soggy due to the amount of grease and the bed of fries underneath the fish did nothing. Not to mention the fish itself was so greasy I couldn't even eat it, I ate a quarter of the fish and got a to go container, figuring I could make it work at home. When I got home I figured I could make something happen. Nope. Major fail, my Ninja air fryer couldn't make that greasy hunk of fish any better. I literally just threw it out and went to bed. I was so looking forward to a fresh, crispy, flavorful piece of fish - not a soggy greasy inedible mess for $30. There's no way you all are serving food like this, especially not downtown Chicago. Never again, doubt I'll be back anytime soon. I'm also a bit annoyed with myself for not saying anything in that moment, in my defense I was on my hour lunch and the day had already been a lot. There's no way that dish won anything, highly unimpressed. Three stars because my shrimp and grits were good from my last visit.

OMG...the rabbit curry pot pie is out of this world. the curry has the right amount of heat and the rabbit melts in your mouth. our server Keven (sounds like Steven w a K) is knowledgeable about the menu and had good recommendations. The gnocchi with octopus and chorizo had amazing freshness and bursting with flavor. drinks were on point. Great date night spot. not crowded, quiet and calm. for the amount of food, the price was right.

Stopped in after an 8-mile run with a friend, and it couldn't have been a better post-run treat! We shared a little bit of everything and loved it all. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy catching up. Such a fun and memorable dining experience—we'll definitely be back!

6/1/26: Tony is an awesome waiter. I hope to get him next time I'm in. The brussel sprouts are so good! I have enjoyed everything I've had here, just make sure you make reservations. Original: Fish and chips was very good. I just needed a bit more tartar sauce from the beginning and it would have been perfect. I'm sure I could have got more if I asked, but I didn't. Service was great, atmosphere was good, but very busy that night (Wednesday night).

Had a wonderful experience! The staff and manager went above and beyond for our visit! They provided us with a private table and made my birthday feel very special. Provided a hand written note and a birthday dessert. The food was fabulous but the service and friendliness made it that much better. Can’t wait to go back when we are in Chicago.
