I have been to The Fire Spot twice now (once for breakfast and once for dinner) and I have genuinely never been so moved by food before. The food takes a decent amount of time to get to the table, but it is so worth it; the portion size, quality, and price are as ideal as can be. My boyfriend and I first went for breakfast and got chicken and waffles, sausage, eggs, grits, and hushpuppies all of which were hot, flavorful, and you can tell it is all homemade! A few weeks later we called to order dinner to pickup and we got a fish dinner (with catfish and tarter sauce) and a pork chop dinner with mac and cheese, yams, green beans, and hushpuppies (we loved them so much the first time we had to get more). I’m not normally a fan of fish however the catfish with tarter sauce (which also tasted homemade) had me thanking the lord for the chef’s talents—additionally, the yams were a glorious sweet side I couldn’t get enough of. All of this is accompanied by amazing service! The owner is extremely friendly and very sweet, which is the cherry on top to an already amazing place. Overall, we love The Fire Spot and plan to return to experience more of the menu. Our favorites were the waffles, grits, catfish, hushpuppies, and yams, though everything we’ve had is amazing!

Let me just start off by saying the service was incredible! The owner was a massive treat and he was kind, authentic, hilarious, and overall just a great presence. He’s incredibly personable and passionate. The food was all homemade and made with love, I ordered the ribs, greens and Mac and cheese. The ribs were tender & the sauce was flavorful, the greens were yummy and a great palate cleanse, & the mac and cheese was so cheesy and bursted with flavor… the cheese pull was impressive. I highly recommend this gem. The whole environment just screams family with not only the staff, but the customers and culture too. Thank you so much, i definitely will be back to try more when im in the area!

Come for the food. I had perfectly breaded fried shrimp and okra. It's a real friendly atmosphere inside too, expect people to talk with you (gasp!)

This was so good! Classic Breakfast and Lunch, Owned by a retired Firefighter, Must Try! 💁🏽 Service quality: Everyone's so great, they love to chat, such a vibe! 🔥 Dining atmosphere: Firefighter decor, super cute! 🍽️ Must-try dishes: I love breakfast, the French Toast and Home Fries were the best I've had in Buffalo!

I had a chance to pick up an Uber order from here this morning. Although, I did not get to taste anything, it smelled amazing. The menu has many options to please any palate. The owner was very pleasant to speak with and had a lovely personality to him which added to the vibe of the place. I can't wait to try some food, I will definitely be back there soon to retrieve an order for myself at that time.
