This is such a nice chill spot for delicious fried chicken and cornbread muffins. The bucket of fried chicken was obviously brined because it came out moist and juicy. I purposely tried a drumstick and thigh to test if the cooking time was perfect. It came out perfect and the crust was crunchy. The Fresno chili hot sauce on the table was a great addition to the fried chicken. The cornbread muffins are probably underrated. It's easy to go for the other sides but the muffins had a great crispy exterior and a soft and delicious interior.

The Front Porch never fails. Great vibes, scrumptious food, excellent service, what more could you ask for? Awesome dessert? They've got that too. And if you're gluten free they can even make you their special fried chicken 🍗 gluten free! A+amazing. Dinner or brunch, both winners 🏆

Did you guys ever think about putting your address on your website? Just an idea. I was recommended your restaurant and we’re tourists. We wanted to come to your restaurant, but couldn’t find the address on the website.

My wife and I were craving Southern comfort food and were excited to finally check out The Front Porch. While the Food Network has profiled their more innovative plates like the Dr. Pepper Short Ribs and Shrimp & Grits, we were in the mood for the staples. We ordered the chicken and waffles, a chicken po'boy, gumbo, and beignets. The chicken was the standout— juicy, crisp, and flavorful across every dish. The gumbo was also rich and delicious. My only critique was the texture of the sweets; the waffle had cooled by the time it reached the table, making it a bit chewier than I prefer alongside crispy chicken, and the beignets were also on the denser side. The interior decor is incredible, with the quirky assortment of accoutrements you’d expect in a New Orleans dive bar. However, despite being the only table in the place for the first hour after opening, the service was quite slow and the staff wasn't particularly welcoming. A good neighborhood spot that feels like teleporting to the South for an hour!

As good as the front staff is...DEFENSE wins championships...and the babes in the back are carrying this tucked away restsurant...I can't speak enough wellness on this joint, from rizz to energy. Everyone is on point. I bless you with the upmost rizz and I hope everyone tries real creole here...bless..

Headline: Brunch takes the cake (or the biscuit.) I love a good brunch and when I can find another great little spot I will also count my blessings! The Front Porch fits the bill as a southern comfort food standout. The restaurant looks like a tiny spot with outdoor seating and what looks like a small indoor area but when you get in, it is quite surprising with a booth designed for a larger party and other ample seating areas. We were a large group without any reservations but thankfully they were able to fit us in within a few minutes thanks to our arrival in the twilight of brunch period. The menu had a lot of tasty options but this occasion I decided to go with the stoner sandwich and tots and the lovely wife went with the Eggs Benedict. The stoner sandwich was great but quite messy looking so I ate with a fork and it was definitely satisfying. PROTIP: ask for extra seasoning on your tots and you will get the tots the way their were meant to be consumed. Overall everyone seem to enjoy their food. Their drinks are also top notch with great cocktail choices and mimosas. Finally, not to be left out but the staff was extremely friendly, attentive and from what I can tell very friendly to their regulars. First time here but no plans for it to be my last!

Tasty! Although honestly the portions were smaller than expected, especially for a southern restaurant -- but it's also SF, so idk. The chicken and waffles were filling, and the hype about the Mac and cheese is understandable (although not as good as Homeroom according to my partner, he's a big fan of Mac and we visited here for his bday). The muffins are TINY lol (see pic), so price makes sense for the quantity I guess? The bready sides were solid, and the apple jam was quite tasty (preferred over the rosemary better). With tip, about $100 for 2 The service is phenomenal! Friendly and attentive with drink refills. The decor is fun and nice too, so the cost could be worth the experience if you care about these more than food. We had leftovers, but probably could've finished everything They also have a deal for apps and drinks until the 20th (?), and I believe it was a couple dollars off 1hr after open? Sunday-Thurs! We went on a Monday evening around open and it was not busy at all
