We stopped by The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation while visiting Houston and overall gave it a solid 8/10. The service was superb from start to finish, and the handmade tortillas absolutely lived up to the hype—they were fresh, warm, and delicious. We started with chips and salsa, which drew mixed reactions from our group—some loved it, while others were less impressed. My daughter ordered the chicken tortilla soup, which she thought was just okay and could have used more seasoning. For the main course, we ordered the original fajitas, and the meat was tender, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. One of our friends had the carnitas tacos with salsa verde, which were also very enjoyable. The real surprise of the night was the tres leches cake. It was absolutely delicious and easily one of the best parts of the meal. While the flavors overall didn’t completely blow us away, the quality of the food, excellent service, amazing fajitas, and fresh handmade tortillas made for a very enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation and would happily return on our next trip to Houston.

Cinco de Mayo celebrations at the Original Ninfa’s 🇲🇽✨ Nothing better than sizzling fajitas, fresh homemade tortillas, queso flameado, and margaritas 🍹🌮 loved the margarita flight and getting to try all the different flavors. The fajita plate and Tajas combo were so good, and the authentic flavors made everything even better. A little pricey but definitely worth a try once! Houston never disappoints ❤️🔥

Asked a local friend “what is a great, fair priced Mexican Restaurant” and she immediately recommended this spot! Boy was she right!!!! Set a reservation and was seated right on time. Went with the fajitas with flour tortillas, as well as an extra side of their special pechuga gravy, she even said “its so good you might even want to put some on your shoes” and it’s true! I’m from California and we have some good Mexican and this place is in my top 5. Now let’s get into service…..Heber R was my waiter and he was attentive, super friendly, and gave some advice on a few things. He also recommended their Habanero salsa as I like spice and that was outstanding. His service was just outstanding and his friendly smile makes you feel like family! If you are in Houston, hit this place up and try to get in Heber’s section. Outstanding place! Also, not a local……but found out by the friendly shuttle driver that they offer free shuttle service to Pro baseball, basketball, and soccer matches! If was local I would hit this place up for a yummy dinner, great service, a ton of drinks and a free shuttle too and from the games!

This is our date brunch or lunch spot hands down. Every time we come here we have the best service and experience. The food is delicious. I always get the famous fajita tacos. You can make reservations the same day. You walk in and get seated right away. Once, you are done you can walk across the street to the street market and enjoy a variety of vendors.
