I have been coming to The Perch for years and always feel right at home. It's a cozy little spot where one can read, write, work on school or work, etc. It does tend to get super busy and loud on the weekends, but the weekdays are perfect. The outside seating area is also very nice and is a bit more suited to conversation. My personal favorite menu item is the breakfast burrito - and I'm not even a huge fan of chorizo. I was once a barista so I can be a touch snobby about my coffee - The Perch is the best coffee I've had in Nashville by far. Some features I love: clean bathrooms, free wifi, free water station, well-stocked self-serve station. You will be served your food, but need to dispose of your dirty dishes in the provided washing bins. Some features that I don't love: can become crowded (but that just proves how good their products are!), other patrons can be very territorial of seating, wait times can become long when they are backed up with orders. Long story short: The Perch is the perfect stop for some good ole non-pretentious coffee that genuinely tastes good. Very homey atmosphere.

Always busy and such a small place. We got an outdoor table and enjoyed the weather.

Disappointed…. My sister-in-law recommended this place because my daughter loves crepes so we decided to give it a try. First of all, this place is tiny (very limited seating) It’s walk-up order style then you sit and wait for your order (if you are lucky enough to find a table) We waited 45 minutes for a Nutella crepe and a side of eggs and bacon. The coffee was lukewarm and crepe just okay. Nothing amazing here. I would recommend Red Bicycle or Sweet Paris for better crepes and much better atmosphere

One hour wait for something that was the furthest away you can get from a crêpe.

Small but cozy. The employees there are friendly and gave my sister and I good recommendations for the lattes.
