From the friendly staff to the Michelin-Star menu, my party of 4 loved our meal at The Progress. The One Man Punch cocktail was deceptively smooth and delicious. Standout dishes include the Brown Butter Cherries & Labneh, Halibut Crudo, King Salmon, and the superb Floating Island dessert. Even if Open Table only shows bar seating, I recommend reserving a table in advance—you might get upgraded (:

My family came here for my sister’s celebratory graduation dinner and it was wonderful! Although I’ve been here (plus Anchovy Bar and State Bird) before, The Progress always surprises and delights with its seasonal and creative dishes. I particularly enjoyed the veal and halibut crudo. Our server was excellent (don’t remember his name but he was from Boston); he was extremely attentive, friendly, and gave great recommendations! We enjoyed chit chatting and he made the night that much more special. Always a delicious meal!

When we first got to The Progress I definitely had an expectation in my mind that it was going to be a typical upscale new American dinner. Now - while it for sure falls into that category overall, the meal we had was fantastic from start to finish with surprisingly interesting dishes and strong service. The decor/atmosphere was also inviting and fun, and really complimented the full experience. 5/5 - would come back!

Had a good time at The Progress. We thought the drinks were nice especially the non-alcoholic section. Food and service were good. Headcheese and duck were creative. We liked them, but felt a little flat when compared to other Michelin rated places. Either way it’s worth a visit.

Made a last minute reservation for a random weekday, and got seating in an adorable booth by the bar! It was the perfect spot to catch up with a friend and enjoy some food and drink. Cocktails were phenomenal, and every dish we had came out really well presented and tasty. For my drink, I got the one punch man. I am a huge fan of milk-washed cocktails and if you are too, you should not miss out on this one. We got the scallop and seaweed noodles which I would definitely get again.
