I just had THE BEST experience at The Salty Chefs! The food is fresh fully made when you order it. Then for it to be delicious too! Come on. It’s so hard to find a restaurant that serves anything worth the money you paid. Well this place checks all the boxes. You’re with people who all want different things? This is the place. You want friendly and amazing people taking care of you? This is the place. You want something super good but don’t want to spend $100 per plate?? This is the place!! Seriously… (I didn’t take any pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face 😊)

The Salty Chefs - food with attitude. The greatest most caring attitude you find these days. Simple set up: place your order, enjoy your fresh food cooked with love and care! While the coffee keeps refilling by the caring host.

I was initially so happy to find this place. This is the second time we've ordered from Salty Chefs. The first time was amazing...I ordered the BLT and Matt got the breakfast burrito. We were both super happy with our selections and were eager to have the opportunity to try more. They seem to be known for scratch cooking and locally sourced produce...so, I was pretty disappointed this time when I ordered a side of turkey sausage with my pancakes. It's very obviously a mass produced frozen product. It's exactly like Banquet or Hormel brown n' serve frozen turkey sausage links that you can get from Walmart. It was super spongy inside and the outside was browned but wrinkly and soggy. The taste wasn't awful or anything...I just expected much better. Another recent reviewer mentioned that their chicken cutlet was a strange texture and, by the waiter's admission, the restaurant orders it precooked. This doesn't seem to align with their philosophy of scratch made and local. The pancakes were ok. The flavor was nice but they were pretty dense. I wouldn't order them or the turkey sausage again. After more reflection...I am frustrated and out of grace. We won't be back.

On my way back from the airport I stopped by this little spot due to the reviews. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Something I have been lacking here in the north is flavor and this place has it all. Delicious flavorful food that warms the soul. I can't believe I'm about to say this but I am prepared to drive the 1.5 hours to eat here regularly. The bread was fresh baked, the seasoning was spot on with all dishes we ordered and the coffee was even decent. I can't recommend this place enough. A real chef works here and you can tell. Prices are decent but on my opinion worth it for the quality.

Loved our lunch at The Salty Chefs! The place is pretty cozy, and the menu has plenty of great options. We tried the "Buffalo Morning" and "Bacon Blue" burgers—both were fantastic and the portions are huge! The burgers come with a side, and we loved the buffalo chicken soup and the soup of the day. They were the perfect warm-up on a windy day. We sat by the window, which was a nice spot, and the service was very friendly. The best part? We got a free biscuit for finishing our plates! Highly recommend if you're in Buffalo.
