10 out of 10-I definitely recommend staying here. The people are so kind and helpful! The riverwalk was easy to navigate. The restaurant in the hotel looked good but we didn’t eat there. The pool is really nice. Our room overlooked the pool and the riverwalk. There was a little balcony with a chair that I could sit out and enjoy coffee and a book. The shower was divine with perfect water pressure. We valeted the car and it was easy to get by texting a code to a specific number. It took about 5-10 minutes. If you don’t have cash, they have a QR code to tip them. The beds are so soft and comfortable. I love the bedding. It was warm without being hot.

The location and staff at this Westin are good. The room was dated and needs a proper clean. See the picture of stains on the curtains, dust and dirt on the plug in the bathroom, broken trim, and the shower leaks so bad (I had the doors completely closed). When I arrived, there was hair and what appeared to be broken wood pieces and dust all over the bathroom floor. I was dropping my stuff to head to dinner so I called the front desk asking for them to come clean the bathroom but when I returned from dinner it still wasn’t cleaned. I called again and they sent someone up right away. She cleaned it well and said that maintenance must have come in to fix something and forgot to tell them to come back and reclean the room. The room needs a dehumidifier for sure - the sheets almost felt wet, it was so uncomfortable. The bed was so lumpy. I thought it was the mattress pad so I pulled it back but it was the actual mattress, luckily I was alone so I slept on the other side. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I had no other options.

We arrived for a 4pm check in & had to wait 1 hour & 45 minutes to check into our hotel room. We asked for a late check out for 12 instead of 11 and they wouldn't accommodate us nor give a discount or anything for the inconvenience. Then they had the Audacity to say that because we had a friends & family discount, that should be enough!!!! If that wasn't enough as we were walking out the room at 11:02- housekeeping was walking in the room to start cleaning up! I used to love the Westin, but I'll never stay there again. The customer service was HORRIBLE! I wish I could rate it a negative star!

Pros 1. Location 2. Staff was very friendly 3. Common area of hotel is nice Cons The only con was our room (1538). I was extremely disappointed by the room. The carpet was heavily stained, the towel holder was falling out of the wall, the bathroom wall was very dirty, the dust and dirt in the light above the sink in the bathroom was the grosses thing I’ve seen in a hotel and overall the room was very dated. I went down and asked the front office to have the light cleaned while we were out and that did not happen. They did give me 5k points for it being dirty which was nice. I then went down and talked to the manager who came up to the room himself while we were out for the night. He did have it cleaned and sent me a text to let me know which was nice. He also extended our check out to 1pm which was appreciated. Unfortunately when they left our room they did not shut our door all the way. Luckily all of our belongings were still in the room.
