Had a pleasant stay at The Westin. Our suite was huge, especially the bathroom. Staff were all excellent - especially the valet. They got our car in and out for us super quickly so we could get to where we were going. Very clean hotel, and comfortable. Two areas that could use improvement are that the rooms need some updating. One of our bathroom sinks was cracked, our door between the bedroom and living room didn’t close correctly, and there were bad scuff marks on the floors and doors in the bathroom. Also, there were a lot of escorts in the lobby. Every time we came in or out, we encountered them there or in the elevators. They weren’t causing a disturbance, but they were obvious.

Stayed here recently for a trip and had a fairly decent experience. Hotel was a bit tucked away, which was fine as far as not being in a super busy area. (There was a fair amount of tour/conferences going on at the property, so be aware of that.) Hotel staff were very nice as well from the front desk to the cleaning staff and the engineer that fixed my commode. Pros: Room was comfortable and reasonably spacious. There's 4 elevators so you'll be able to get around. They are key card access, which is ok if you feel "unsafe" in the area. Neighborhood is pretty quiet as well for being in a city. Cons: Room had some issues (toilet flush mechanicals broke, some of the furniture in the room had a nice layer of dust on it that I needed to clean off, and the towel hanger on the back of the bathroom door did a great job of dropping a towel on the floor no matter how you tried to hang it up) which I dealt with. TV in the room barely worked and seriously needed to be replaced. Food options are a bit limited, so unless you like hotel drinking you'll be going somewhere else to dine. Figuring out where to get a car service is a bit complicated with a hidden driveway that can easily be blocked by tour buses. Overall, depending on price, I think this hotel is a good option to stay in DC, esp. if you want to be in this part of the city.

This hotel is wonderful!! I pulled into the Valet and while I was not parking a vehicle the gentleman was so sweet to guide towards the Front Desk. I was acknowledged right away by Sierra!!! She was so phenomenal, she made me feel special and went above and beyond!! I called the Front Desk around midnight and Ky was so helpful with any questions I had. 100000/10! What a great place to spend my little getaway. Thank you so much!

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Westin City Center DC and expected much more from a hotel that claims to be 4-star. We booked a King Room, which was extremely basic and honestly felt more like a 2-star hotel. The sheets had multiple visible stains, which was unacceptable and made the room feel unclean. While the location is great and the staff were generally polite, the overall experience was overshadowed by poor transparency and noise issues. At the time of booking, there was no mention that the lobby was under renovation. Only after the booking was confirmed did we receive an email about it. I immediately called to cancel, but the manager assured us there would be no dust or noise during our stay. That turned out to be completely untrue. Around 7:00 AM, there was loud construction noise—hammering and what sounded like wall demolition—that made it impossible to sleep. We called the front desk, and the noise stopped for about 30 minutes, only to start up again shortly after. Overall, this stay was very frustrating. Between the poor room condition, misleading information about renovations, and early morning construction noise, this hotel does not live up to the Westin name or a 4-star rating. I would not stay here again.

John, GM so sorry I missed the window for the survey, thank you for reaching out I hope this review will suffice! The Westin DC City Center has been my primary hotel for DC Travels for the last 10 years. I feel like I'm home when I stay there at this point lol. When I tell my friends I'm coming into DC they already know where they can find me! I came in town for my birthday and The Boy is Mine concert on 11/30. The guest service team suggested Kitchen + Kocktails for my birthday brunch and it was a fantastic experience. I did have two grievances with the room, one of which you all declared an emergency and apologized for via email. The other was the bedding. I hadn't pulled the sheets back before returning at the end of the night. The sheets looked terribly slept in. At this point I think the masses know to expect that the sheets are not changed with every guest, but this was obvious. The sheets were turning in color. It could just be time to get new bedding inventory, but I had to get out of my head about it in order to fall asleep. Otherwise, friendly staff, beautiful lobby, great walkability.
