The place doesn't dissapoint if you eat meat. I live around the corner and am here about once a month. The redfish benny is a dream of a dish, very, very creative and delicious. Also, ima say that burger might just be the best in the entirety of New Orleans.

Excellent and kind staff. I stopped by on a hot day after I'd just ran out of water and couldn't see anywhere nearby to get more cold water. I walked in snd the bartender sees me, then offers to fill up my empty water bottle for free and quilt free too, he was super polite about it and mentioned "it's ok, it's a hot one today".

Decadent is the best way to describe our meal. Excellent dinner. Great service. Good value for the price. We drove 8 hours for dinner and are planning our next trip to visit again.

Cornbread was yummy 😋 Hog's head cheese was bland, Daily sausage was decent. Goat's neck Lasagna was pretty good, but wasn't fresh 😕 Reheated and Hard around the edges.. definitely Not worth $40 either. Was expecting more from the prices and the hype, but I'll give them another try.

This was our second time to eat at Toups Meatery. We showed up without a reservation so the host whipped out a two top for us. The cocktails were great, especially the Poblano Escobar. The meat board had several amazing components. I could live on the cracklins, but they’d probably kill me. My wife had the venison. I had the pork chops. The picture is blurry, but the again so am I after trying to finish it. Everything was perfect. We don’t come to New Orleans often enough, but next time we do, we’ll be back again.
