I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my birthday at the Waldorf Astoria Spa. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My services were beautifully executed, and even with a minor hiccup, management handled it with care and professionalism. My body scrub and massage were deeply relaxing, and my HydraFacial left my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The spa itself is stunning, serene, and deeply relaxing. Overall, I left feeling truly taken care of and refreshed. While the experience was lovely, I do think some of the service price points are a bit high and could benefit from reevaluation. That said, I would absolutely return.

They know me by name 🤷‍♀️ My options are always massages 💆‍♀️ and facials when needed. ❤️ I always feel at home and try to book months in advance. Service is 💯🔥. If I could give this spa 1000 🌟 I would. Top Notch... High Maintenence Exceptional service.

I recently visited the spa at the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, and unfortunately the experience did not meet my expectations, especially considering the high price point. The spa itself feels very outdated. In the steam room, tiles were visibly falling off the walls, and the carpet in several areas looked worn, frayed, and in need of replacement. The space overall is quite small and not very aesthetically pleasing. Guests are limited to four hours in the spa area, which I can somewhat understand because of the size. However, the relaxation areas are not very comfortable or enjoyable during that time. The lounge area is small and could definitely benefit from updates to the artwork, lighting, and overall design to create a more relaxing environment. Another issue was the lack of spa etiquette being enforced. Several women were walking around and behaving in ways that were not mindful of the quiet, relaxing atmosphere that most people expect at a spa. Unfortunately, there didn’t appear to be any staff present to address or correct this, which made the environment feel less peaceful. For the price of services here, I expected a much more well-maintained and relaxing spa facility. I’ve visited many other spas at similar price points that offer far better amenities and overall upkeep. Overall, I believe this spa needs significant updating. Until improvements are made, I will not be returning. At this price, I can easily go elsewhere and enjoy a much better spa experience.

After reading the previous reviews and reflecting on my own experience, I’ve been a loyal customer for several years. Even though I rotate between a few spas, this one used to be in my top five. Unfortunately, after today, it has definitely fallen off that list. I recommended a friend to book here for her birthday, and I honestly regret that decision. The front staff has always been pleasant, but this time we were met with unnecessary attitude from the back staff, and we had no idea why it was directed toward us. It was uncomfortable and completely uncalled for. On my last visit, everyone received a complimentary glass of champagne. Now, we were told that only guests celebrating a birthday qualify for that, yet repeat customers and people who refer others don’t receive so much as a glass of rosé. What made it even more confusing is that guests in my party, who were not celebrating birthdays, still received a complimentary glass… even though I’m the one who referred everyone to the spa. The policy makes no sense and should definitely be reconsidered. To make matters worse, my friend never received the birthday cake they’re supposed to provide. The excuse was that “no one knew it was her birthday,” even though they call beforehand to confirm appointments. Asking whether a guest is celebrating something should absolutely be standard so the staff can prepare accordingly. Right now, it feels like “if you know, you know,” and if not, too bad. Overall, the customer service has declined, but the prices have not and that combination makes no sense. Unfortunately, I will not be spending any more money at this spa.

Myself and my husband arrived at the spa at 9:07am for our 10:00am appointment. When I noticed a male attendant preparing to service me, I politely informed the male therapist that we had requested two female therapists at the time of booking our appointment. The male therapist left the room and returned with another woman therapist named Kelly. I was told by Kelly, that I could not change the male therapist and that I could cancel my appointment. Kelly proceeded to tell me in a very aggressive and demeaning manner that I was inconveniencing her and the spa and she had done all that she could do. I explained that we had booked two women therapists by request over a month ago with the spa manager. Kelly doubled down by repeating that I could cancel my appointment and pay a $75.00 cancellation fee as she had other clients to see after my appointment. I asked to speak to a manager and a few moments later, Bree entered the room and confirmed that the spa made a mistake with my reservation request. She offered to comp our visit which only made sense because we had not received any services. Felicia was particularly pleasant and understanding— she shared that it was very common for couples to request two female/women massage therapists. She said the spa gets that type of request daily when making appointments. She also offered that we could still use the garden bath tub as we still had 25 minutes left for our appointment time. It takes the tub about 30-40 minutes to fill up so that would’ve been a waste of time. We ended up leaving the spa without massages and even more stressed than when we arrived. I had booked a staycation weekend as a surprise gift for my husband. My experience at the Waldorf Astoria Spa Atlanta Buckhead was demoralizing and borderline traumatic— nothing luxury or relaxing about it. I reached out to customer service via the website and never received a response. I will never recommend The Waldorf Astoria Spa Atlanta Buckhead and never return to patronize. You can spend $700 per person at a better establishment who knows how to treat clients.
