You get what you pay for. First off, the location is fantastic and for the price it is serviceable. The rooms are small, but if you are only sleeping there that isn't a problem. The bed we had was as old as the building itself and was simply terrible. Here's the deal. If you are young, looking to save money, and want to be in a cool part of town, then this is good for you. If you older who needs a few more amenities and needs a bed that is not a small pad of overly soft potholes, then spend the extra money to stay somewhere else. I would not stay here again. Would not have stayed here the first time but my wife can't pass up a bargain.

The Windsor Inn Hotel has pros and cons. It’s in a great location (lots of shops and restaurants nearby) for a reasonable price per night. There’s always free water and coffee in the lobby, which looks cute and historic. The outside sitting area is also lovely. We would sit at the tables, drink coffee, and eat lunch together. However, the room and service were questionable. I stayed in a room with my partner, and my friends (also a couple) stayed in a nearby room. Our room looked outdated, especially the couch and carpet. The bathroom doorknob was so loose that it fell off. My partner was sneezing a lot because there was more dust in the room than we anticipated. Our bed felt clean though because the hotel staff regularly changed the covers. Another problem we had was that both of our key cards stopped working almost every day, so we had to get it fixed by the front desk multiple times or else we couldn’t enter our room. Also, the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, and we were on the 4th floor. Overall, if you want to save money and just need a clean bed with a working bathroom, the hotel is a good option. It covers the basics.

I genuinely don’t understand how the Windsor Inn stays in business beyond its location—because that’s the only redeeming quality. The photos online are incredibly misleading. What you actually walk into is a run-down, poorly maintained property that feels neglected in every sense. The walls are cracked, there’s visible mold, chipped paint throughout, and the carpets look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. It’s not just outdated—it’s outright unhygienic. To make matters worse, when we raised concerns, there was no real support. The manager was “on vacation,” leaving staff unable (or unwilling) to address serious issues. Our request for a refund was ultimately denied, which just adds insult to injury. For the price they charge, this place is unacceptable. If you care at all about cleanliness, basic upkeep, or customer service, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Avoid at all costs. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood, which is definitely a plus. The building does have an old charm to it, but that fades the moment you walk in the lobby. It's understandable for an old building to have its cracks and blemishes. This building is way beyond that. I checked in for what was supposed to be a week long stay and decided to check out after one hour in the room. The only updated feature in our room was the shower that seems to have been remodeled recently. Everything else in the room was ancient. The a/c unit looked like it was about to fall out of the window. The TV remote was greasy, and the rug had paint splotches all over it. The bed had a cigarette hole in the sheet, plus stains on the pillow case. The unforgivable sin here was the black mold growing from the wall and ceiling of the room. If I could give this less than one star I would.

I never got to stay there. I made a reservation and had a question. I called everyday for over a week. They don't answer the phone. I could not leave a message. They did not respond to emals. I contacted I contacted the company I booked with Hostel world by email because they don't accept phone calls and also reeved no answer. I canceled my reservation
