My husband is currently at Cedars Sinai Hospital, which is close to Yardbird. Someone recommended it to me on social media. What a wonderful experience I had!Elizabeth was like a breath of fresh air. She let me know that I was valued from the moment I arrived. This is a place that feels like home away from home. I highly recommend it, and the food is delicious. -Olga

I have frequented this restaurant many times. Usually I’m dressed up and not down. Today I was dressed down. Upon meeting with the hostess I was asked would I like to dine inside or outside . Due to cool weather, time of day, and absolutely no one outside dining I her inside. I was then told the only available tables were the high tables or the lounge but no booths or tables were available. Funny, I had the same incident at Outback Steakhouse at Del Amo. As I sat I noticed an array of patrons enter the restaurant whom were seated at tables. Most were dressed down as well (as my grandmother would say, “they didn’t look like my mommy’s children).I didn’t make a fuss because I had my children with me who were excited to eat at this restaurant in particular for our weekly date night because they’ve heard their friends rave about the chicken and ribs. I just sat and observed. I also would like my children to remain oblivious to micro discrimination as long as possible to preserve their innocence in this world we live in. The bartender who also served as my waitress was very sweet. I wish I would’ve caught her name to shout her out. She’s the red head who favors a live version of Jessie from Toy Story. She was patient and if she ever reads this she may remember her nervousness when my debit declined the first try. (Totally due to fraud prevention of my bank). I’m usually a generous tipper but the seating arrangement without an attempt to seat me as the other patrons took away from that so 22% was all I was willing to pay. I more than likely will not patronize this establishment again in the future. The food is delicious but there are far more restaurants with food that’s just as delicious and I don’t have to worry about being seated where no one sees me.

Decided to pop in on Mother’s Day. We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess accommodated my son and I. We waited no more than 20 minutes. I thought that was amazing bring it was Mother’s Day and we didn’t have a reservation. We were seated out on the patio to a wobbly table. The manager Tommy greeted us and immediately noticed the table. Swiftly, Tommy took action to correct. After that, Tommy took our order. I highly recommend the house made lemonade. We tried the passion fruit and dragon fruit. Both were amazingly delicious. After that, there seem to be a handful of off with our waiter. Immediately, we felt the shift in service. When our cornbread arrived, the server who dropped it off didn’t make eye contact with us because she was too busy chatting with friends at a different table. Cornbread was moist but the best part was the honey butter. Yummy. A flyer that, it was an external wait for our food. We ordered the Mac n cheese with chicken and eggs along with a cowboy burrito. I believe our food was sitting waiting because when it got to our table, it wasn’t hot. More like less than room temperature. I didn’t care for the tasteless Mac n cheese. The cowboy burrito was gross. Please stay away from that if you despise Tex mex and corn chips in your burrito. Only pleasant part was the beginning with Tommy and the yummy lemonade

My boyfriend and I had an early dinner here and our waitress was Shawonna (so sorry about the spelling)! She was extremely hospitable, funny, and engaging! One of the best waitresses I’ve ever had :) My boyfriend got the American Wagyu burger which he said was quite possibly the best burger he’s ever had! I got the wedge salad with crispy chicken. The ingredients were all so fresh and the portions were super generous. We had the fried Oreos for dessert which did not have the typical overpowering sweetness that the dish typically has. All in all it’s a 10/10 and ask for Shawonna if she’s there! You won’t regret it.

I’ve been here several times, and the menu and quality are consistently the same. The food is above average at best, which is generally what you expect in LA. Most dishes are clearly pre-cooked and reheated. The mashed potatoes and chicken were warm rather than hot — seemingly a signature of this place. The deviled eggs were not fresh and had that unmistakable aftertaste of food that’s been refrigerated for days, not hours. The ribs were fairly okay, nothing memorable. The waitress was genuinely good, but good service doesn’t compensate for overpriced food that isn’t fresh as expected from similar overhyped places.
